Man, Raul, Trouble Shooter and Wild Wasteland are absolute slam dunks for Nashi, Moon's Legacy and Nassari, Dean of Expression respectively!
Struggle for Project Purity looks wild if you choose "Brotherhood" - which you propably should.

Re: How do you approach deck building?
I think some would find my Commander roster and deck building restrictions quite akward. Over time i decided to have one each mono and each two color pairing, as well as one budget (<150 €) deck each with 1 to 5 colors. So i don't build "new" decks anymore but rather replace one with anoth...

Re: [mtgnexus] Random Card of the Day - Saw in Half
Saw in Half Crazy card! A friend of mine does run it in a MBC shell. Why not Saw in Half your own Crypt Ghast , Grave Titan , Gray Merchant of Asphodel , Massacre Wurm , Sepulchral Primordial , ... to get two of them and have the original one available to reanimation? Thank god this can't get impri...

Re: Lazav, the Multifarious | Graveyard Shapeshifting Voltron
Man, i really gotta update my list soon!
I gotta say Cruel Somnophage // Can't Wake Up and The Ancient One were great additions i haven't mentioned yet.
I'm also sure that Dalek Squadron and Hunted Bonebrute could do some fun stuff in here.

Re: Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle | Eggs, Cheerios & Weenies
I am having some success with a budget list (100€) of Teshar, tailored to resist the early game and combo off in the mid-game. That's a cool list, for sure! I'm happy to see you enjoy your version of the big birb As for Collector's Vault and Gift of Estates , i could see you replacing them with Gle...

[sym=creature] Creatures [sym=2] [sym=w] Delney, Streetwise Lookout - Bonkers card! Though i'm not sure if we actually need additional triggers on top. [sym=2] Sanitation Automaton - It may not be Professor of Symbology or Raffine's Informant , but i am always happy to see surveil on a card. [sym=e...

Re: LotR - To Block or not to Block - see what I did there?
Of the LotR decks you've made or cards spread out among your decks, do you find the set more useful in parts, or in block? My playgroup loved the whole LotR stuff and built several decks - i went with Aragorn, the Uniter "charms", with Flame of Anor , Friendly Rivalry , Growth Spiral , Cu...

Re: [mtgnexus] Random Card of the Day - Shadow of the Enemy
Shadow of the Enemy I have one of these sitting in my binder for Gonti, Lord of Luxury and i am yet to decide whether to go for it. While it would be super fitting, it's just so much mana up front, less reliable and bonkers than Sepulchral Primordial is... But i'm pretty sure this is super cool in ...

Teferi's Puzzle Box|sld Man, i remember the brief time Leovold, Emissary of Trest // Teferi's Puzzle Box was a thing - a horrid, disgusting time that was. There are somewhat fair uses for it, but you certainly gotta pull the brakes hard to keep it that way. The only deck i run it in right now is a ...

Re: Zada: Grinding up an Arcane Storm
Is Felonious Rage big enough of an upgrade to Otherworldly Outburst to run it (again)?
While Otherworldly Outburst was a dead card too often for me to keep running it, a bigger buff and haste on top seems fine outside of reacting to board wipes.

Re: Best, recent, simple but good commander…
So what are your favorites in the past year or two A quick sift back until 2022 i would say Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant , Don Andres, the Renegade and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse are prime examples of simple, yet interesting(ly enough) card designs. Overall less text and not being a double-sided card alw...

Re: [Off-Topic] Community Chat Thread
So, yesterday i got to draft Ravnica Remastered - and i don't know what to think of it. On the one hand, it has been one of the better Master/Remastered sets to draft, especially compared to Dominaria Remastered. There is plenty to get sentimental about and the decks we got to built were nice. Buuuu...

Re: [mtgnexus] Random Card of the Day - Luxior, Giada's Gift
decks with a light planeswalker theme (do those exist?). Brago, King Eternal says "hi!". Come to think of it, if it weren't for the 5€ price tag, i'd give it a try. In my list, Elspeth, Sun's Champion and Tezzeret, Artifice Master usually sit at 5 loyalty for most of the game anyhow. Othe...

Umezawa's Jitte is certainly in the mix of prime targets - especially with Kellan, the Fae-Blooded // Birthright Boon having double strike... but there are the swords of X&Y, Champion's Helm , Mithril Coat , Swiftfoot Boots , Sword of the Animist or All That Glitters / Ethereal Armor for those ...

Re: Wyleth vs Kellan
If you're looking for consistent pressure, Kellan, the Fae-Blooded // Birthright Boon is obviously your pick, as he both grants you your favorite equipment as well as double strike. Plus, he's the obvious guy for Sunforger packages. I'd ignore his buff for others entirely. Wyleth, Soul of Steel come...
