I've only hit a Tithe with it in Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival so far, but I want to keep trying it. That deck never casts so many spells in a turn that it would rival a from-exile Delayed Blast Fireball, but I do value spitting out more tokens whenever I can.
Coastal Piracy Bident of Thassa Reconnaissance Mission The Indomitable Unless I have a bird or wizard token deck, I probably am running all of these cards ahead of it. The body and no-max-hand-size is very nice, but usually I prefer that this effect does not get wiped with the rest of my critters.
I probably am only running CoEmbereth or those cards in decks where I want the token for sacrifice shenanigans. I always found From Beyond to be too slow at that cost.
I probably want my W/B spot removal to hit creatures as a baseline. The exile and cost of VV are nice, but I am skipping it since it has too many blindspots.
Last week I used All Is Dust and took out a Conduit of Worlds, so it's not like VV cannot hit artifacts at all. =P
Not until right now did I think of MTG turning as a Ready Player One environment, but Anduril made it click. Now that I realize my Jurassic Park Hunting Velociraptor can dual-wield a Vorpal Sword and Sting, the Glinting Dagger then hop in Bessie, the Doctor's Roadster ........I am so put off from UB...
Basic swamps? I love the indigo and desolation of the Urza's Saga ones. Most of the USG basics have a similar hue to each other, which makes the art easy to mix-and-match.
I always draw it RIGHT when it would be a win-more card in Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival. I am going to keep trying it because I think it has a place there.
We have too much art. There should be one alt art of one card per set. It can be the box topper. No extra borders. I'm not memorizing the millions of new cards we get every year, and I'm definitely not learning their various artworks and borders. They need to simplify this stuff.
I agree: It feels wrong and bad when new cards (with new abilities and new words that did not exist in the '90s and early 2000s!) have old borders. BRC hurt a lot.
