Re: Unreleased and New Card Discussion
Dance of the Manse is a nice effect. I do wish they'd stop printing the "payoff" of animating all of your artifacts/enchantments. One of the strengths of enchantments is that they're more difficult to remove than creatures, so opening them up to twice the removal is almost never something...

Re: Unreleased and New Card Discussion
I'm pretty optimistic for Once and Future, in mono green at least. Return two cards at instant speed, seems strong.

Mono Red Burn with Squee, Goblin Nabob
Burn can be a difficult archtype to play in EDH, but this deck takes up the challange - and does it surprisingly well. The deck owes much credit to d0su's list back at salvation, but I don't think he arrived here yet and our lists are still somewhat different, so I might aswell make my own list now....

Re: Sasaya, Orochi Ascendant
Ursapine is pretty great manadump. You get to play political, and with enough mana, all it takes is one creature to go through the defense.

Re: [mtgnexus] Random Card of the Day - Goblin Lore
I am one of those few to play both Goblin Lore and Control of the Court in one of my decks. And I most say, they shrine in that deck (which plays alot out of it's graveyard). Sometimes, in perfect magic-wonder-land, I'll also have Alhammarret's Archive in play, and then they dig really deep. When yo...

Is it time to cut signets entirely?
So with the newly spoiled Arcane Signet and the talismans getting a full cycle with Modern Horizon, are the guild-signets now outdated? In non-green 3-color deck, I welcomed the talismans, but with this new one you can go up to 7 signets/talismans, which seems a bit much. Are we playing all or just ...

I mean, sure, I still love me some but my loveliest deck has to be my Squee, Goblin Nabob burner deck.benjameenbear wrote: ↑4 years ago'Tis blasphemy! How dare you mingle with those unruly and heathen Elves and Goblins! Hast thou repented and seen the Light?

Re: [Off-Topic] Community Chat Thread
Oh, shoot. I missed out on the bulk of the intros. Still! My name is Kat, and I'm your resident friendly god-queen (admin)! I'm a die hard Gruul fangirl and as Jivan loves to point out, extremely bad at MTG. But that will never stop me from continually hopping from deck to deck. All hail the Queen!...

Fits into the garden.gnomes.dec, if nothing else.

Re: [Off-Topic] Community Chat Thread
Hallo, I'm Andreas. Living in the lovely, second largest city in Denmark, Aarhus with my girlfriend and two kids, got one of both. I started playing when I was a kid around the time Fallen Empires was a thing... Assembled a merfolk deck, but never got to play with it much before selling off most of ...

Re: [mtgnexus] Random Card of the Day - Heaven // Earth
There's Withdraw, which most likely will be used to bounce one or two of your own guys. But technically, it could do the same as Waterwhirl.

Re: Do you ever use green signets?
Short answer: No. Not ever.
I never felt the need, when I can just put a land into play instead with Nature's Lore/Rampant Growth. It's mych more common for artifacts to get blow up, then it is for lands, so I think most of the times it will be the more safer options to ramp via lands then rocks.
