I like the design, and if it didn't have that wincon added on I feel like it could easily be a face card for a Rakdos reanimation commander precon. It someone proxied it I don't think I would have an issue.

I wish Transmute cards were more than tutors, but the cards as a whole are underpowered by today's standards Without Transmute I doubt they would see play.

This card is one that requires good politics, and there's an upper limit to what you will be able to copy depending on your table.

It's still a beating in aristocrat decks.

I've considered using him in my Ur-Dragon deck as it can easily protect walkers, but I tend to like the 1RR Sarkhan walker more. Looting and Dragon ramp helps the deck get out of the early game and it tends to not be as threatening as this one.

I run it in my Windgrace and I'm always happy to see it - it's plain, but both modes are always active. It's a treasure that deserves more play.

Return is a cast trigger, so it's a nonbo with ilharg.

It seems like it'd be good in og trostani and Riku, but it's more a creature for casual tables thanks to the cmc.

Feldon was one of the big pieces to make red better in commander, and he's still pretty good today. He still has design space most other red commanders don't touch, and the fact he doesn't exile is important. Rummaging effects are pretty good in his decks too, though he's also likely good in Ghired ...

Should be an interesting commander for a go-wide aggro strategy. Red has plenty of ways to get 1/1s or spread burn effects

It's just the kind of card that can and will skyrocket in price if MTG finance sees any weakness.

If energy ever pops up again Marvel might be bigger, but as it is it's in an odd spot for commander where it's scarier looking than it actually is.

Daxos is interesting, though he does lend himself to a fairly controlly shell. Then again, I do use a good chunk of Rumpy's build for my Daxos
