I was hoping to see some controlling aspect in oil counters, since the oil is literally Phyrexia nanomites that corrupts, perhaps permanents with oil counter on it cannot be controlled by non-owners. Or, it'd function like devotion since, well, the oil is literally devotion to Phyrexia, except here ...

By the cards shown so far, I can't find a use for most oil cards, even in a proliferate deck.

Looks like white in this set is getting more draws base on creature/attack/token, all relevant to the color. Norn's Decree even has a political side to it.

Not as much as Dominaria though. Maybe the two planes are fated to be like that.

There are some pretty powerful cards in the leak. Amongst legends, I like the precon lead Ixhel, Descendent of Atraxa the best, being poisonous but encourages you to poison as many people as possible instead of ending one player quickly, while capable of ending the game when it comes to 1v1.

Thinking about making a Witherbloom deck (i.e. life and token related), and will likely include all the relatable legends. The question though: Who should lead the team?
