Re: How much time per week do you spend magicking on average?
Hmm, idk, these days I have more fun on the Switch, but I guess if counting these forums then maybe 1-3 hours a week? Idk it's been easy to not get super into the weeds since most new cards are just side grades really.

Re: @mtgnexus Community Deck Project v10.0
I would yay Diving Top and Liberator, yeah! And I'll raise you a Shimmer Myr. Most our stuff is artifacts and this'll almost be a second Liberator, right?

Edhrec is constantly talking about this card and I think the juice is totally worth her squeeze! No sacrifice needed.

I'd vote for the good inspector! We're probably gonna play a lot of artifacts anyway, I'm sure it's got hits.

Re: @mtgnexus Community Deck Project v10.0
I'd like to change my nay to a yay on Deathmantle. And a yay for what's probably the best trinket mage target of all time, retrofitter foundry.

Re: @mtgnexus Community Deck Project v10.0
I like Deathmantle if we're on Su-Chi / Cathodion (I think su-chi is out of budget right?) otherwise what else are we using it for? Giving colorless creatures intimidate and then adding a color is worse than, say, just giving them an Executioner's Hood . So I think this has to be a nay as presented ...

Re: Ixalan Commander Decks Impressions?
I think 3drinks is going though a struggle over finding pirates for under $40 shipped. He doesn't want to buy it but he's clearly interested and I'm gonna keep poking at him when he shows up with them 🤣. Definitely caught him rebrewing in his head a time or two at work 👀🙈 Really though, of something...

Re: @mtgnexus Community Deck Project v10.0
Think it's pretty clear that we can break parity on the best stax piece in the format, so that's a yay from me!

Re: @mtgnexus Community Deck Project v10.0
Ooh, Ugin. I for one will yay our dragon overlord. Palladium Myr too. I am not sold on Oblivion Sower. How often does it actually hit? These cards that look at the top X cards in a 99 card deck always feel like a whiff to me, idk maybe I'm wrong. I think that's a nay for that reason.

Re: @mtgnexus Community Deck Project v10.0
Lifeline is interesting. It's kind of a fail with Omar (I'm keeping that name, yep!) right? And it's a delayed trigger. Is this really where we want to be? Idk I've never gotten to play with the card though.

Re: @mtgnexus Community Deck Project v10.0
Desecrate Reality is an easy three for one, I don't see why people dislike it? I would yay this card. I think I'm with Ugin. It's weird having a cost reducer so high on tht curve but this deck has an infinite curve right? Anything that lets us double spell is gonna be good I think. Looks wandering a...

Re: @mtgnexus Community Deck Project v10.0
Scrap Trawler is a one card advantage machine that requires no further input. I think that's pretty strong as a way to recover multiply cards on it's own. I don't think this card can not be played in a colorless deck so I'll yay it. And I hope others do too! For my card I think we have some pretty f...

Re: @mtgnexus Community Deck Project v10.0
I think it's pretty obvious we're going to have an abundance of rocks that tap for 2+, and so I think a set of keys will generate mana much more frequently than not. So I'll yay the keys.

Re: @mtgnexus Community Deck Project v10.0
I see some fetches and some land snipes, so I'm gonna go ahead with Crucible of Worlds. I think that's a great place to be and letting us hit a land play every turn is important I think.

Re: @mtgnexus Community Deck Project v10.0
I think Omarthis is a curve filler with it's variable cost while leaning into +1/+1 counter synergies. Like animation module. Idk, I think that's fun because it's counters but not in Selesnya!

Ohhh, it all falls on me huh? Well I'm gonna go with Dauthi Voidwalker then. Having just watched it blank half of someone's hand cough cough, it's really good. Seeing stone of erech come up reminded me 🙃
Which I'll also yay, btw!

Re: The Community Deck Build Project v9.0
Isn't this what we were talking about earlier? Something about not time walking ourselves to play a mana stone in a deck that is aiming to be aggressive? I think I'd agree we probably don't need the lantern to fix (though I'd like seeing my schematic lantern get some play 🙃). I think I'd like more t...

Re: The Community Deck Build Project v9.0
Hmm. I think I like Dire Tactics here. It's pretty strong and I think we're gonna have a human most of the time anyway, right? I guess there's a use case where Cut Down is better? But I think this ticks the boxes well enough. I think flawless maneuver is good enough here, we should prrrrrooobbbaaaab...
