Re: [C19] Tahngarth, First Mate (The Vorthos Cast)
He went from a cool interesting looking character to a generic Minotaur. I like his abilities but I will have to alter that art to something more like his original multi-horned glory. That's what he looked like before Volrath warped his body . See Tahngarth's Rage and the Tahngarth Vanguard card.

Re: [C19] Empowered Autogenerator (TCGplayer)
Now of course with proliferate and/or doubling effects this is more powerful, but in such a deck I think I'd prefer Astral Cornucopia and Everflowing Chalice which come down sooner to actually help ramp me and are a nice mana sinks if we get to the uber late game. I mean, the obvious route is to ru...

I wasn't expecting a new Volrath card to be a perfect fit for my Atraxa deck, but here we are, I guess.

Yeah, it's weird that they use gendered pronouns for planeswalkers, but not for anything else, not even legendary creatures.

Re: [C19] Commander '19 Preview Panels Thread
Am I crazy for picking up a bit of a Nielsen vibe off this piece of his, and Vivien's Arkbow ? Nah, I definitely see it, too. It's a bit unfortunate that Gerrard won't be able to lead a full weatherlight crew deck. That's what Sisay, Weatherlight Captain is for! (I'm thinking of making a Weatherlig...

Re: [C19] Commander '19 Preview Panels Thread
That's not really how you win with the Animar deck, the trick with him is to get down a massive horde that you can pump up, and do it quickly. Get in one or two creatures that lets you draw when you cast creatures to make sure you don't empty your hand, and you can end up drawing half your deck in ...

Re: [C19] Commander '19 Preview Panels Thread
Kadena is somewhat nice, but truth be told, Animar is still FAR superior for the morph-centric decks. Not really. Using Animar to throw down all the morphs in your hand for free isn't as helpful as many people believe, because you still have to pay to turn it face up, and it's pretty easy to overco...

Re: MtG Netflix Series Speculation.
I'm not sure "gravel and gravitas" are what they should be going for with Chandra. And Alan Tudyk could voice most anyone and blow a fair number of minds. I just feel that Mark Hamill has an array of voices that would all be perfect for Tibalt, from his manic Joker, to his menacing Ozai, a...

Re: [ELD] Rosewater Panel at SDCC
These Collector Boosters feel like the All-Foil Alara Boosters taken up to eleven. Let's see if these fare better. As for the special alternate art frames. I thought WotC said they didn't want to make the same card in the same set with different art because it confused people. I am glad they changed...
