Molten Duplication, baby!
It's... it's so beautiful!

I guess my zada deck can drop from 68 to 67 Commons. Time to find another cut.

Re: Zada: Grinding up an Arcane Storm

Daring discovery is a game changer as far as I'm concerned. If I get a decent setup of even 4+ creatures there's a pretty good chance that it alone can get the ball rolling fast enough to make the critical turn successful, even if you tap out for it and have nothing else in hand. Especially with ano...

Re: Zada: Grinding up an Arcane Storm

It's possible that Zada could get some use out of Invoke Calamity but that's probably more of a "win more" card or a way to take a second crack at having zada go off on a later turn. Not 100% sure it's good enough for the deck, and if so, what to slot out for it. Also, I'm sure you haven't...

Re: Zada: Grinding up an Arcane Storm

There's no way we can make use of mass blood tokens to make them more useful than the pay and loot effect, is there? I feel like Bloody Betrayal is just BEGGING for some sort of Zada shenanigans, but the payoff is way less valuable than nearly any other card I'd put in the slot.

Re: Zada: Grinding up an Arcane Storm

well, it's not an instant. That said, Ancestral Anger is likely to be a new Zada staple. It cantrips, it grants trample, and it even buffs attack by 1!

I think Stolen Vitality isn't long for my Zada deck.

Re: Zada: Grinding up an Arcane Storm

Well, it's not the cantrip I was hoping for, but Manaform Hellkite is a backup Young Pyromancer . For my own current deck, I think I'm gonna be taking out Mirrorwing Dragon , Possibility Storm , and Inordinate Rage , Bringing in Ardent Elementalist , Stolen Vitality , and one of either Spikeshot Eld...

Re: Zada: Grinding up an Arcane Storm

Thanks for the update, Crazy Monkey. I had thought of Ardent Elementalist as a possible slot in, not as a must-have. I'd already bought a copy, but now I'm definitely trying to figure out where to put it into my deck. That said, I've gotten a few good solid games in over the last month or so, and I'...

Re: Zada: Grinding up an Arcane Storm

There will never be a FINAL zada deck list, her power will only grow as magic introduces more red cantrips. Ardent Elementalist probably won't make this guide due to potential infinite combos, even if it is a better version of Anarchist and Revolutionist . I'm personally favoring Goblin Dark-Dweller...

Re: Zada: Grinding up an Arcane Storm

Thanks for the info, I just put my order in for this deck's cards. (taking out Reiterate , Mana Geyser , and Unleash Fury for Goblin Chirurgeon , Impact Tremors , and Bonecrusher Giant // Stomp ) so it'll probably be a few weeks before I get to test it out. Sudden Breakthrough seems like it'll work ...

Re: Zada: Grinding up an Arcane Storm

Hello, I'm yet another somewhat new player looking to make my own variant of a Zada deck. I've got my own (admittedly somewhat silly) rules for making my own decks. 1) no card over $10 2) no card over $5 unless it's a major factor in the deck 3) aiming for a total cost under $100 Anyway, I'm heading...
