The try-hard experiment is being terminated. It did win most of it's games, but it did not do so with particular alacrity. As the high-power stuff is now earmarked for a new project - specifically Stella Lee, a somewhat more casual Varina list is forthcoming.

As corny as it seems, Bovine Intervention is not an awful card either. It doesn't hit as many things as Generous Gift but it's cheaper and the downside is not as bad.

What do you guys think about Mindbreak Trap|OJP? Three three-spell threshold is pretty steep for casual play but the ability to permanently deal with uncounterable spells is nice. This beauty fell into my lap tonight at the prerelease.

I think getting access to green is a lateral move rather than just being better. Being in grixis I believe gets us more interesting stuff nd best of all gets you access to Deadapult which who can say no to that?
