Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
Completely agree with Arkren, exactly why I don't run Teferi's Puzzle Box anymore. It makes you the target and thats the last thing you want. People get really salty

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
Quick question to the group, someone suggested recently that I include Fires of Invention . which I thought was an interesting suggestion. what do you think? Pros: - I try to avoid as much as possible casting cards from hand, so this would allow some flexibility without taking mana from Grenzo's act...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
I'm currently experimenting with Mayhem Devil at I have to say it works extremely well. The text on the card allows you a ton of flexibility: "Whenever a player sacrifices a permanent , Mayhem Devil deals 1 damage to any target " It's beautiful... - Whenever players activate their fetch la...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
Gribbet Thank you for confirming the Grafdigger's Cage. Makes sense for the Tuktuk Scrapper. If I see people including more of these artifacts I'm going to start including responses but so far it happens to me 1 in 10 games. So not a huge issue. Regarding Goblin Recruiter, you would need then to pa...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
ah yes, I'm glad you've mentioned it. I went back and read the primer. I'm wondering that Grafdigger's Cage will still shut down Grenzo, right? On the Dauthi Voidwalker the only nuance is the creature sacrifice. You need a sac outlet for most of the combos in the deck, if a Dauthi is out, you cannot...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
I think its a great idea, I'm going to try it out. there are a lot of 4 toughness creatures that can lock Grenzo out like Dauthi Voidwalked (3/2) or Drannith Magistrate (1/3) I personally included Ravenous Chupacabra for this specific reason as having only 1 creature removal with Meteor Golem is not...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
definitely, so far I think Xorn has a lot more potential but Delina might work too. you can copy a token creators if you desperately need more mana (siege gang commander + altar) or mana dorks (workhorse, dockside) or remove something (meteor golem, Duplicant, Chupacabra, ...). It adds more dimensio...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
With the most recent spoilers here are other cards I spotted that could be interesting: Hobgoblin Bandit Lord In a goblin heavy build Xorn I think this synergises extremely well with Dockside Extortionist and Pitiless Plunderer . With plunderer on the battlefield every time you sac a creature you cr...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
this is a great point!! I Didn't think about it that way... I think you're right! This way they think they just shut down the deck and focus on someone else.
Great point!!

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
Sorry for the delay in the review of MH 2, everyone. Anatomy has been sucking all of my time the past few weeks. All that to say, here's the official review of MH2: Young Necromancer - I'll be testing out replacing Whisper, Blood Liturgist with this card. I believe this one's criteria is easily met...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
@snowfox54119 Maybe author of shadows could be interesting in a GY-heavy meta. Just be careful with clones haha. The reason why I wouldn't personally run it is that it requires a mana investment that can take away from flips instead. It's definitely not a bad choice though if you want GY exiles, ca...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
I had to jump into this conversation after reading the last posts. snowfox54119, I'm a huge fan, I've been playing a lot with your deck. or almost... I use a goblin gardener because I couldn't find the settler and I use the chupacabra because I haven't had a chance to buy the defiler yet so I had to...
