I personally like Cleaver Skaab. Being able to copy some of our zombies is a great effect to have. It is slow, but reasonably costed at 3U.

Crowded Crypt is a mana rock with upside, which may be worth considering.

Personally i would never drop the warchief. I like his big buff to our zombies and i had games ( late games that is ) were i could drop a zombie and hold up mana for removal or varina token maker to make his cost reduction relevant. But to be honest i have run him in all my versions of zombie decks ...

Have you considered adding Damn ? Its a boardwipe and if only one creature is bothersome, it is target removal. (Only downside is the two white pips)

The biggest problem for Unworthy Gravedigger, for me is that he cost 4 mana which i found annoying because varina also cost 4 mana.. and she has top priorty. I am hoping like many others (I think) for a Archaeomancer effect on a zombie to get our instants and sorceries back to hand.
