Re: Kaladesh Swiss Army Knife?
No conversion, I thought the one stop shop location for all decks meant all decks, Commander and otherwise. My mistake. Shall I delete this thread? I don't see enough activity on other format boards to make it worth moving.

Re: Finisher for an abzan control deck
If you mill Living Death , just cast E-wit from the graveyard with Karador, get back Living Death and let it rip. Even with with the 4 mana witness, the total mana investment is [sym=5][sym=b][sym=b][sym=g][sym=g], which is achievable for a grindy Karador deck looking for a way to close the game. E...

Kaladesh Swiss Army Knife?
For me, Kaladesh and Aether Revolt were a fascinating block. Vehicles and gearhulks, chainable Expertise spells, off-the-wall mechanics and energy, and some very definite synergy in Grixis, which is where this deck checks in. LotR - To Block or not to Block - see what I did there?
I'm a LotR fan...pretty serious I'd say. I've even read the Silmarillion...twice. Anyway, the set last year was a fanboy dream come true. I've built 14 decks from the set, all but one are completely block cards. Some are janky 1v1 decks with themes of forces of Mordor, the Path of Doom (the ring's j...

Hazezon Tamar - Defenders of Dune
Dune has been a fascination of mine since that movie in the 80's, followed by reading the novel. About seven years ago, I started working on a deck on MTG Salvation, my first iteration of this deck. I ran across it in Google just the other day checking to see if any news was out about creating a Dun...
