Re: Kenrith, the Returned King Anti-Combo Group Hug
Kinda went with an Angel tribal sub theme since flavor wise the deck is based around Jesus which works out pretty well. Also forgot to add a bit more card draw as well which I think I fixed up. The token spam is mainly in here for Skullclamp and Phyrexian Vault though I had a bit of difficulty findi...

Re: MTG, the Corona-Virus Pandemic, and future events.
I predicted this would happen a few pages days back. You guys need to start listening to me about paper magic. It is dead for the foreseeable future. Maybe years down the line if things ever return to some sort of normal we loyal players can resurrect it. But for now, it has no place in our society...

Re: MTG, the Corona-Virus Pandemic, and future events.
And Wizards would see none of those profits for those cards, so what's the point? To price people out of another format which only serves to drive more people away from the game? No, the smart decision is to print the cards so people can actually buy them. Imagine how much money Wizards would have ...

Re: MTG, the Corona-Virus Pandemic, and future events.
COVID-19 may have just forced Wizards of the Coast to expand the Reserve List to encompass the entire Modern format card pool. Why? Because realistically collectors will be the only target demographic that Wizards of the Coast caters Paper Magic toward as players no longer have a place to play at. T...

Re: MTG, the Corona-Virus Pandemic, and future events.
so this is pretty unfortunate news for people in the US and Latin America. Wizards is suspending in store play in the US and LATAM even longer . at this point I don't know what to think So is this suspension just for Organized Play or In-Store Play cause I figured there would be a difference betwee...

Re: MTG, the Corona-Virus Pandemic, and future events.
There were also rumors swirling in the news media recently about the potential for a second global pandemic with Bubonic Plague when China recently confirmed cases in the inner Mongolia autonomous region with two people currently in quarantine . On another note, the World Health Organization (WHO) r...

Re: [Experimental EDH] Kenrith, the Returned King Anti-Combo Group Hug
I feel as though the creature base could use some work. I kinda like the idea of Lazav, Dimir Mastermind though and might try to go with a permanent clone strategy over artifact ramp hate. Suppression Field I feel is a bit of a double-edged sword in here since it shuts down my Planeswalkers as well ...

Re: [Deck Tech] Help me Improve My Commander Deck!
Anyone able to provide feedback for my Kenrith, the Returned King EDH / Commander deck? https://www.mtgnexus.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=29764 It's okay if you don't want to reply. Nobody should put building new EDH / Commander decks over the lives of friends and loved ones who're already at risk b...

Kenrith, the Returned King Anti-Combo Group Hug
The goal is to use Kenrith's abilities to compensate your opponents from not being able to combo off even though what they get in return probably isn't as exciting as what their decks were originally trying to accomplish. I was really aiming to try to offset a lot of feel bad moments compared to how...

Re: What's Your Opinion on Politically Correct / Woke Culture?
The left paints ALL persons not within their group as racists. ESPECIALLY the ones who don't think they are racists. This gives them moral superiority to perform all kinds of rights violations and violence. They aren't really humans after all, they are just racist scum that should be eliminated. Lo...

Re: What's Your Opinion on Politically Correct / Woke Culture?
Even If your Local Game Store (LGS) is making hands over fists of money you still don't want to be excluding certain customers based on ideology. Now If someone is racist, sexist, or a pedophile then that's a whole different story altogether. The left paints ALL persons not within their group as ra...

Re: What's Your Opinion on Politically Correct / Woke Culture?
Whether we like it or not the culture of Magic: the Gathering as far as our community goes is currently shifting. 2020 has been a very strange year for many reasons, obviously the big reason being the COVID-19 pandemic and the effect on Local Game Stores (LGSs) that primarily focus on In-Store Play ...

Re: Nissa's Spanish Inquisition!
Did some goldfishing with Nissa and came to these recent fixes: - Runed Stalactite - Amorphous Axe - Griffin Canyon + Elixir of Immortality + Feldon's Cane + Blasted Landscape As much as I liked the equipment in here they didn't really do much unless I get the right synergies going. Blasted Landscap...

Re: MTG, the Corona-Virus Pandemic, and future events.
If there is one thing we can count on from WOTC, it's that they will cave to pressure. Konami suspending paper yu gi oh indefinitely is a "woke" position for your company to take. I expect WOTC / Hasbro to follow suit. Though how they are going to justify selling a paper product that cann...

Re: MTG, the Corona-Virus Pandemic, and future events.
If Konami is postponing In-Store Play Events Indefinitely for Paper Yu-Gi-Oh! then what does that say about how Wizards of the Coast has been handling the situation with COVID-19 for Paper Magic? Most LGSs couldn't even get any of their Core 2021 Pre-Release Events to fire last weekend and even If y...

Re: MTG, the Corona-Virus Pandemic, and future events.
Seems as though my area is starting to mandate masks out in public with the second wave of coronavirus coming in from recent outbreaks in California, Florida, and Texas. I can see this making it more difficult for people to play Paper Magic at Local Game Stores (LGSs) since they won't be able to bre...

Re: What's It Like Being a Local Game Store (LGS) Owner / Employee?
Seems like a lot of LGS owners are making the mistake of adopting their business model to be more like Rudy from Alpha Investments and Sports N More where they mainly just sell MTG products to customers online instead of actually providing overhead for In-Store Play to host events and allow casual p...

Re: What's It Like Being a Local Game Store (LGS) Owner / Employee?
It seems like most people who are passionate for gaming and collectibles who open their own LGS are usually those who lack the proper business experience in retail to operate it well enough that they can afford to pay rent to keep their landlord happy especially when you take geography into consider...

Re: What's Your Opinion on Politically Correct / Woke Culture?
Well on a side note, media has gotten more relaxed on what you can say which means that you have to reflect on what's being said and why it would want to be said in the first place. Plus with social media and stuff like YouTube where you have less moderation you also have more people who are willing...
