Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
Thanks for the updated list snowfox. I think all your changes make perfect sense. My main question right now is why you've stuck with Zulaport Cutthroat over Blood Artist and/or Mayhem Devil — any thoughts on them? Zulaport is the best of the bunch for a couple of reasons. 1. It hits every player a...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
Silly question, is Myr Retriever a good alternative to Junk Diver ? I have another deck to build that might need Junk Diver , so I am looking around for alternative that similar to Junk Diver for the Grenzo deck. The Grenzo have been doing so well to me. Unfortunately I could't find another Junk Div...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
@Gribbet I took him out for Imperial Recruiter I managed to get while back. I also took out Darksteel Pendant for Deathbringer Thoctar that day I won that aforementioned kiki-jiki win con.

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
Hello all. I have managed to play my version of this deck, and it did very well. In the first game two weeks ago, I managed to play it and won with the Kiki-Jiki-Zealous attack combo. The week after that I decided that I will only use the Kiki-Jiki combo if necessary, I felt that every time I do the...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
The problem with it, is that you have to attack with her... This deck is not much of an attack focus deck, apart from the Kiki-Zealous combo to attack for the kill. Apparently there's a combo with her. Haven't looked it up. Delina, Wild Mage I liked the card because again I immediately thought of so...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
Maybe use Thornbite Staff is a bait, so you can do a different combo, sometimes it's better to switch and bait with this deck. If one combo is out and attention is on it, work towards another as a back-up plan... Just in case they missed the other combo pieces while they frantically trying to sort o...

Re: Tasigur: A Tale of Lands, Graveyards, and Forks
I thought Long Rest was a good for this deck, the only thing that kind of holding me back is the three green pips and the life reset... AFR spoilers are out, and there are certainly some interesting options. The various mechanics (dungeons, dice rolling, and classes) don't have immediately obvious s...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
@Arken I am not so sure about Diamond Lion , maybe that's just me not always liking to discard my hand, but the others do make sense. But hey, I can see the potential of Diamond Lion as a quick way to get Anger in the graveyard and other artifacts for Goblin Welder to bring in play. Breya...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
Yes the little Liliana cosplay is a great new addition. I'm also very excited to get my hands on Underworld Hermit 4BB When _ ETB, create a number of 1/1 green Squirrel creature tokens equal to your devotion to black. "Some souls yearn to escape death. Others are content to feed the wildlife&q...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
Young Necromancer Seems like a good card, the may ability helps as you might have it flipped it out in the early early game and you have no graveyard (yet) or you don't want to exile the only two good cards in your graveyard unless it's lands... I agree, that it's more of a late game card to cheat ...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
I had to jump into this conversation after reading the last posts. snowfox54119, I'm a huge fan, I've been playing a lot with your deck. or almost... I use a goblin gardener because I couldn't find the settler and I use the chupacabra because I haven't had a chance to buy the defiler yet so I had t...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
While I am waiting patiently for payday, to get some of the cards I still need to get. I have 9 left to go. I playtested in the TappedOut's playtest feature for awhile (the waiting game is killing me :x). It's a good place to learn the interactions and shenanigans, I noticed to the deck usually go o...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
Keep in mind that Syr Konrad, the Grim has 5 power, so he is going to be hard to flip with Grenzo. Flayer of the Hatebound is a similar effect and is still pretty tough at 4 power. That's true, but it's a deck of luck. I can just put it in the bottom of my deck again and then shuffle the deck via B...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
Really inspired by your primer to build one for myself. I was interested after seeing the Command Zone video with Josh playing it, but I put it as a back burner as his decklist have some pricey cards, till stumble across to your primer recently. Using the combination of your budget and original list...

Re: Tasigur: A Tale of Lands, Graveyards, and Forks
The Blanket of Night works with Cabal Coffers . it is because Urborg is out of my price range, and it skyrocketed. But I will get the others slowly when I get the chance to order them locally. Mana dorks are there to fill up space till then. I agree on Reclaim, it is on the chopping board, but it's ...

Re: Tasigur: A Tale of Lands, Graveyards, and Forks
I have been building Tasigur on the Dramatic IsoScepter build, but it didn't much for me in the play testing. So I found your primer and managed to get some of the cards that's suggested in your decklist and primer. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the Death Cloud , but I build it that I could d...

Re: Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim: What Is Dead May Never Die
Yeah, there wasn't much for Ayli's deck from the Theros set. I totally understand you had to put this primer on a back burner till you have time to advise what else you have updated. Yeah, the cEDH and Casual starting to blur a bit, but I prefer to play with my playgroup for fun and interactivity. T...

Re: Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim: What Is Dead May Never Die
Hi all. I have been reading and following since the MTGSalvation forum of this primer. I have been planning on what I have and don't, plus I have been outsourcing which online/LGS shops I would buy at the cheapest rate ($1 equals R15, Yawgmoth's Will cost R4435 :omg: ). I can only at the moment do ...
