Yep, all my cards are assembled, and my group gets together Friday, so I get first crack at this deck soon. My thought is: I have a cohesive 99, so getting her out is only positive. If I need a creature for 3 for some reason, I'll drop her early. At 3 cmc, she can absorb multiple Doom Blade effects...

Probably. Simic is not my favourite either. But if we could find anything good in the oversaturation, it's the increase of more or less interesting commanders.
