standard is dieing because they keep having the bans. it is broken so no-one play, then they ban everybodys deck and no-one plays. they are killing standard slowly like modern for pioneer and arena. arena is the real money.

The decks that tend to want this (Freyalise, Gitrog) generally have more degenerate things to do, and from what I've seen often gravitate towards those.

Even with Cascade, 5 mana is far too much for spot removal. I've seen this in a Yidris Cascade-tribal deck, and it's a cool theme card if you want to do something like that.
