I was just looking through some people's deck lists, and I was thinking that I would be really cool to be able to have an option to show the mana costs of the cards in the list.
What I'm thinking is something similar to what you see on Moxfield, like this:
Some random deck I just clicked on over at Moxfield
My thoughts in no particular order: Call me crazy, but Nyxbloom Ancient feels really out of place here. Dread Presence also feels very out of place. Your list grouping makes me very happy for the "standardized sorting" feature on the deck blocks here. ;) Countersquall seems like an odd cho...
EDIT: I added Omnath to my Golos list as a test for goldfishing. Ohhhhhhhh man is it good. I highly recommend it with 7+ fetchlands for maximal value. Man, last play session with my group I quickly threw together a half-assed Omnath landfall deck, and I was legitimately surprised by the amount of v...
Sorry I haven't responded in a while. Recent events had me feeling a little disillusioned and I kind a just took a break for a couple weeks. Ghostway is a fine card, along with its counterpart Eerie Interlude . Though, unless you specifically want it for the instant aspect, I think Yorion, Sky Nomad...
I'd love to see these banned before they go up for sale. It would drastically impact the sales of this product and its the only real way to make WotC not want to do this again. Unfortunately, even with the huge backlash, many people don't have the self control to vote with their wallets. Making thes...
Basically all of my current decks are helmed commanders that people have complained about being overpowered at one point or another, several of which have been mentioned directly in this thread already. And I've previously had or tested several other decks for other commanders that have been mention...
Yeah, I saw that one. I think it could be pretty solid in some builds, particularly when you are taking good advantage of the discard. I'd personally be way more interested if it were a 3 drop, but this still looks fine. Spoils of Adventure is card that I think is flying way under the radar. At its ...
The recently spoiled Ashaya, Soul of the Wild might find a home here. I like that it makes the team immune to nonland removal (most notably Cyclonic Rift). Plus he turns everything into a mana dork, so that's neat.
I've played Frontier Siege in Maelstrom Wanderer for a long time, purely for the ramp ability. Getting the GG on both main phases has been relevant more than a few times, especially like when I tap out for Wanderer and then cascade into Selvala, Heart of the Wilds . I've played Outpost Siege a few t...
I don't really think of things in terms of "flex slots", and I actually only rarely even look at things as direct replacements when making changes. If a new card comes out that is just a straight better version or improvement over something I'm already playing, then yeah, it's a direct rep...
Have you ever tried Seedguide Ash ? I'm testing it in my Wanderer deck, but without ways to sac it, it might get the axe...still, 3 forest into play is nice ramp. I have not. I've considered it for my Korvold, Fae-Cursed King list, but never for this deck. I agree that without sac outlets it's prob...
I'm not sure why it didn't occur to me previously when I was looking for counter spells that aren't useless on a cascade, but Temur Charm is another option that is probably pretty decent. Sometimes removal, sometimes evasion for the team for a combat, and from my hand it can be a useful Mana Leak , ...
If you include Field of the Dead don't forget to include some snow basics to up your chances of getting Field active. Also, as someone who plays Reap in every green deck, i wholeheartedly support seeing more people playing Field of the Dead  Well, it's actually the other way around for me, s...
What would you swap out for it, if anything ZenN? Maybe one of the basics, since that would increase the odds of triggering Field of the Dead . But going below 7 basics doesn't feel super great, so probably a pain land. If I feel like I have enough colourless for Eldrazi Displacer (or if I were to ...
Seaside Haven too cutesy? Its a great mana sink with a low opportunity cost, being a land, and another colorless source for the displacer. Also draws your deck with infinite mana, though I think you mentioned not running infinites in your current deck. Oh, I've got several ways to go infinite, just...
I may not be running Coiling Oracle right now, but that's because I'm running both Ice-Fang Coatl and Risen Reef . Having a better selection of great flicker options added in the last few years (looking at you, Soulherder and Thassa, Deep-Dwelling ) definitely makes these guys better. I could easily...
Played a few games with this last night. Won one of the games in a way I've noticed the current version of the deck is pretty capable of pulling off. T1: Land, Wild Growth T2: Land, Faeburrow Elder T3: Land, swing with Elder, play Derevi putting untap trigger on Elder, use 3 to cast Eldrazi Displace...
Yeah, I've run Cataclysmic Gearhulk in the past, and for a while had Supreme Verdict before Tragic Arrogance became a thing. Generally between Cyclonic Rift , Tragic Arrogance , and Angel of Serenity , I don't really find myself having issues with the board. Plus just mostly not caring about creatur...
Usually, I will either see a specific legend I want to build for, or decide I want to build a specific deck theme and figure out which commander I want to use for it. Then I open up a new DeckStats tab and write down basically every card off the top of my head I might even remotely want in that deck...
Oh, also, for a potential mana sink, someone else (@Mr_Webman I think?) was running Urza, Lord High Artificer in their list. Decent ETB ability and a strong activated ability for a mana sink is pretty cool.
What are all your thoughts on Thrasios, Triton Hero as a mana sink for card advantage/potential ramp? I often find myself wanting an instant speed mana sink, especially while untapping Bloom Tender or Faeburrow Elder during combat. The price tag is a little prohibitive, but I'm thinking about proxy...
I've been trying out these changes for the last little while and been pretty happy with them so far, so I may as well reflect them here. I realized I still had a ramp spell in here that couldn't net me 2+ mana, and wanted to find a spot for Trinket Mage , so that. And with one fewer specific Forest ...
