MTGNexus

The only way I knew the site was active was someone's offhand comment on Salvation. I'm curious if Sally's new owners prohibited the mods from discussing or promoting Nexus. Also, what's the macro plan for getting the word out?

You'll need the people running the place to speak to the specifics, but a couple things I've seen imply we are actually on here pre-launch, and they'll plaster announcements all over the place once they're ready for the grand opening.

yeah, they would probably make announcements there once things are ready.

Grand opening, announcements, etc, start tomorrow Wednesday.
Everything before now has been a soft opening to get feedback, do the last minute setups, etc.

Oh yeah. I'll be putting my sales and marketing skills to (hopefully) good use for promoting MTGNexus. With any luck, we'll be able to get a bunch of users sign up quickly and stay active. We'll see though!

Signed up when I saw the reddit post. Site looks good! I refuse to get a reddit account because I know how much time I'd waste, but I can't block it cuz I can't go without some magic related stuff in my day. This seems like the compromise I needed

I just lurked on reddit as well. I'm not fond of the format so I just kept off of it. However, I'm a big fan of message boards. Was glad to see this come out.

tried to help a little by telling friends about this site. I only told them once though.. as being repetitive could annoy people and have the opposite effect.

So the Modern section is coming along. We dont have all the primers yet but what we do have is all fresh and up to date. I think ultimately this could be a great resource. Keep it up nothing happens overnight. MTGS insta-deletes anyone linking here Ive noticed which is lame.

This shouldn't be happening at all, and if you actually see any of this, please report it or let me know.
I'm still actively running MTGS as well, and I/we have a good relationship with the new owners.
The only thing I know was removed was a thread in Commander that went a bit too far.
