If both of Hurk's abilities are active, can it be blocked by either/or even&odd; or neither/nor even&odd?

Formatting it that way, the answer is clear - 'can't be blocked except by an (even / odd) number of creatures this turn', which combine to make it so that it can't be blocked (since no number is both even and odd).
