Gets rid of a major threat right now in exchange for a vanilla threat later. I am glad it specifies that it can't hit things you control.

As pointed out in the tweet thread, this + a way to return to your hand in response to the first trigger means your opponent doesn't get a token, yet the permanent still gets exiled. (
Crystal Shard, 4 mana to exile a permanent per turn)

Feather likes this in EDH, though the amount of CMC < 4 removal targets will vary by meta.

I don't think I can use it in my Feather deck, but then again, I run a cantrip value deck, so...
