Looks like we are getting a really short spoiler season this time: https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/a ... 2020-03-26

April 2 – Ikoria Debut, trailer launch, (7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET/2 p.m. UTC) and the start of previews
April 10 – Last day of previews
April 16 – Ikoria released on Magic: The Gathering Arena and Magic Online
April 17 – Prerelease/release in Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong
May 15 – Prerelease/release in North America, Europe, Latin America, and Australia/New Zealand

9 days of spoilers (shortest I believe for a normal set) means we can expect this forum to be busy starting April 2. Am a little surprised nothing has leaked out, yet.

Nothing remotely legit, anyways

This is good now we can actually do Ikoria pre-release the normal way

Anyway hard to believe they can do 300+ cards in 1 week but on the other hand since everyone is stuck at home they have more time to do it

I'm assuming it will go like this:
Most of the notable cards are in the rare and mythic slots, spoiling 1-2 mythics and 5-6 rares a day will do the trick (add a bunch of uncommons).
In the main set there will probably be 15 mythics and around 53 rares.

The commander decks will probably be fully spoiled in a single go, instead of trickle spoiled a few cards at a time.

The last day we will have the big dump of draft chaff (like usual).

On the stream yesterday they said Commander Spoilers would be Friday-Monday (yes weekend spoilers).

Damn, I thought NZ would be grouped with Asia. Maybe I could fly to HK and prerelease twice...

Funny thing I should mention

The April 17th prerelease

Funny enough that's where the kaijus always end up being in nearly every film

There's gonna be a massive amount of spoilers in a short time.

I haven't really done any prereleases online before but I guess I'll have to

Pretty much half the set will be previewed from Friday to Sunday, wow! I don't think we've ever had such a massive preview of cards in an expansion set in such a short time.

IIRC they said that the weekend is labeled as Commander Weekend and the main previews will be the C20 decklists

My guess is April 2 we will get the mechanics article, 1-2 walkers, 2-3 more mythics with the mechanics, 5-10 rares, and several commons and uncommons.

Given the rapid rate at which these spoilers will occur and the short spoiler period, do you think a Name and Number Crunch is worth it for Ikoria?

If it is not too much of a hassle, it is a nice thing to have.
Even if it is just updated at the end of the day and not in "real time".
