Quasi Quadland
Land (C or U?)
Quasi Quadland enters the battlefield tapped.
T: Add B or R.
{b/r}, T: Add G or U.

Also, would it be better if the filter ability accepted {1} instead of {b/r}?

I'd say it's more of an uncommon, and that 1 reads better than (B/R) -- and in the course of gameplay it's going to be the same thing.

What are you thinking of for a non-playtest name?

This is for a 4C set.
My logic is, filtering is not nearly as valuable as straight up tapping for mana.
Unknown Shores is a very mediocre card.
Geothermal Bog is imo better in a vacuum than this Quasi Quadland (a likely name here would be Underground Laboratory).
Does it allow splashes? Yes. Would you play it outside of a BR deck? I probably wouldn't.

The floor is an etb tapped dual, which is sometimes a uncommon, the filtering is gravy. Geothermal Bog is probably better in constructed where the land typing means something, but in limited I think quasi land is better
