As the thread title implies, this is the thread where we share our favorite mtg flavor texts. Will start the thread with Gerrard's Battle Cry.

I like the flavor because of the irony of it. Gerrard and the weatherlight crew were badly beaten by Greven Il-Vec. Pieces of the legacy that they had were taken as well.

I miss snarky Jaya, and also snarky Chandra from back when Chandra was clearly just a Jaya clone a la Craterize or Incinerate|M12. Nowadays Chandra is too serious business for me.

hmm, does the flavor text of reckless cohort mean he wants to reach the bodies of his family. Or maybe he's suicidal want to join them in the afterlife?

I think it means he's sacrificing himself to give the other guy a chance. Sortof the latter, then.

Reckless Cohort is a I'll meet my family in Valhalla kind of deal.
