The damaged creatures doesn't have to die to make a food token? Eeeeewwww. You're eating bits taken from a live animal.

I love Giant's Skewer. It seems fun, and Fortifying Provisions could find a home in commander a deck I am building. Mostly because it boosts toughness to all my creatures.
