I actually predicted this one earlier today. I have to say though, I feel like the cost to activate is kind of heavy but...... whatever I suppose. I thought it would cost one less for the token but I guess it really doesn't have much for downsides other than the cost for tokens is a bit high.

Worth noting is Vitu-Ghazi, the City-Tree costs the same total amount of mana to activate.

I was thinking the same thing. Humans are probably a little better than saprolings though and it does have the option to provide colored mana and enter untapped though so I would say its still an upgrade but the difference between them doesn't seem all that vast.

Might slot a 1-of in modern human deck. Being poor, I don't have horizon canopy so I play more shock lands than the standard list, so I often have a plains in play. Late-game gas and instant-speed buff of champions and lieutenants is probably good enough to include.

not bad at all. must get one of these. I have a deck that has four honor of the pure, so the humans can be a little larger.

Rhys is more than happy to run a second Vitu-Ghazi, the City-Tree.
