Which do you like more?

Hey guys!
Here's how this works, everyone post two cards (and make sure you use the card codes). The next person should respond with which of the two cards they like more (for EDH Specifically) and then post their own two!

Exsanguinate vs Torment of Hailfire

Exsanguinate, by far. In my experience, decks using Torment lead to the sort of games where it's effectively three player until the fourth sticks his heads in and says "Whoops, guess I win". Not fun.

Rhystic Study, but only because of the cumulative upkeep. Both are pretty great though.

K-Grip, every time.

Swords to Plowshares vs Path to exile

Swords to Plowshares; cheaper card monetarily and I'd rather give my opponent some life than ramp them.

Azorius Signet - Signets over Talismans in general, though I think they're both great 2 rocks.

Living Death|Masters 25 vs Thrilling Encore

Depends on the deck but in most Thrilling Encore, It gets more done when your deck isn't built around it.

Cultivate or Rampant Growth

Cultivate for me, since I play in a battlecruiser meta and so the extra colour-fixing and guaranteed land drop for the next turn are great.

Austere Command. Being able to wrath while minimizing damage to yourself is worth the extra mana investment.

Torpor Orb, assuming your deck can support it. Shuts down some decks by itself, while Relic is just an annoyance.

Reverberate - Explosion is an interesting option on the other one, but I don't think being able to pay blue on Expansion is worth the limit to cmc 4 or less spell targets. I want to be able to copy big stuff, too.

Mindclaw Shaman. Searchable by Imperial Recruiter if that's your thing, comes down faster, and comes down for less colored mana too. I think has a higher chance of whiffing, but that makes it a bit funner. It's not just relentless, efficient advantage.

Some decks want to be milled, and unless you're doing sphinx tribal or a Phyrexian theme, why not just use Diluvian Primordial? Easier on colored mana, hits every opponent's graveyard instead of just one, and exiles the spells too (unless you're building to abuse other player's spells).

Sanity_Eclipse, are you going to suggest the next pair?

Since he didn't, I'll give a new pair.

OG Krenko, and I don't think it's close for most people.

How about 2 different build-around-me's slash payoffs.

Vedalken Shackles vs Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle?

I think shackles is undeniably more powerful and much easier to pull off. Yet, Valakut is in 3x as many decks according to EDHREC. I'm a huge shackles fan.

Shackles, definitely. I dislike Valakut in edh.

Exotic Orchard, because most of the time there's no difference and I don't want to give my opponents too many little flyers to kill me with slowly.

Feast and Famine, definitely. Untapping lands is just too good.

They don't fly.

Definitely Firemind. The trigger is much better.

Going to dig out another obscure one.

Delirium. You can use it after attacks to fog a creature. It is almost like a deflecting palm. But in a very aggressive deck I could see Backlash being better to tap a blocker.

My options:

Young Pyromancer or Talrand, Sky Summoner

If in both colors and could only pick one, Talrand, Sky Summoner. 2/2 flyers > 1/1 ground.

Definitely guard, open sac outlets are great. So getting real utility on your jank transmute guy is legit.

Deadeye Navigator, besides its power ceiling, it's also mono-colored.

Or

I know more people don't use Mana Reflection due mainly to cost, but what if cost was no object?

I think Mirari's Wake most of the time. If color restrictions are not at issue then having the anthem along with it is nice as both have green and I'll likely be getting most of my mana from lands. Mana Reflection seems the more niche choice for when you also want to boost mana dorks and are running enough of them to matter.

Fact or Fiction, every time. With FoF, you ultimately can choose to find the card you need even if it's the only card you get, where with Steam Augury, your opponent can bin the card you need even if you draw 4 irrelevant cards. 1 relevant card is almost always better than any number of irrelevant ones.
