I wonder how in all this year, we never got a big "pay some, deal a lot of damage to target player"
I mean the best we got are lava axe, 5 mana for 5 damage, and urza's rage, 12 mana for 10 damage.
For commander the best probably is mindblaze, which kinda is 6 mana for 8 damage.

Can't we get a better big burn spell? This may actually be it, but the fact it can multiple targets undervalue it as just big damage in the face

Probably would just run Jaya's Immolating Inferno in EDH.

How nice that they printed the in-set combo with Irencrag Feat. It's a little clunky, but killing two creatures and doming your opponent for 7 on turn 4 is nothing to sneeze at.
