The "Everything's fine" dog is rather appropriate now hehe.
My friends and I have been proxying decks for the last couple of card nights and we've been having a blast. I've built mono blue merfolk and gruul midrange. They're not good meta decks, but they're really fun to play and it's been good. I've started to not really care about anything. I'm broke and just want to play with my friends, so that's what we do. Modern is great if you ignore the top meta.

numbers like that make me surprised scam didn't see a ban a few weeks ago. I enjoy modern a lot but those numbers are crazy

I suspect they care less about Modern's health than avoiding banning newer cards, especially ones supposedly designed for Modern, like Modern Horizons 2 stuff, or printed directly into it like LotR stuff, due to fear of the messaging that would imply for those who spent money on such cards as well as their own pride.

I watched a stream of a guy playing merfolk through a league the other day. Tishana's Tidebinder is pretty damn good against those evoke elementals. At least if I understood what was going on correctly hehe.

You'd almost think that was intentional, as if by design. :)

I'd be surprised if scam survived this B and R tomorrow. Same with Up the Beanstalk . Those strats seem way too good and people seem to hate playing against them

Would have loved to see Solitude and Grief both go as it would have be wizards acknowledging that they made 3 of them near game breaking as I expect to see Solitude and Grief both go up decently in play numbers upcoming now that fury is gone
