a 3 cmc for 3 with flying that can grow bigger. Not bad, but there's stronger cards for Bant decks than this angel.

way too brain taxing for a land x3 I get it with Life from the Loam or Sun Titan or whatever, but by themselves lands with cycling options are way too big brain for me. also Rustic Clachan, Khalni Ambush // Khalni Territory etc... I grabbed a bunch of Onslaught when it was legal, and a bunch of Amonkhet and ZNR when they hit and I think lands-with-spells-attached are the hardest thing to play correctly in the game

the cost is high, but at 7 cmc this is a one sided board wipe that leaves an army of soldiers to finish off the opponent. Could end games if the opponent did not expect it.

The original Lace cycle was always very, very narrow. The one selling point is the permanence of the effect. Prismatic Lace replaced the whole cycle for the most part.

looks like a narrow card indeed. The prismatic version looks better - would be particularly useful if they printed it in Invasion block, where plenty spells and creatures cared about color.

Near mint Alphas are about $1000. Betas about $200. Every time I see a lace, I think of the ABU binder at an old LGS (18 years ago) which was full of BB Mind Twists (which was banned at the time) and the Laces, each for $1. I'd look at them and think to myself, "These will never be worth anything." *sigh*
