Sorry, life got busy. I'll wait for my next turn to make my nomination since it's passed me a couple times now.

Yea Ashnod's Altar. Sac outlet is sac outlet.

EDIT: Yes, the deck is sort of on autopilot right now but our interaction and grind package will be interesting. I do think a mana constriction approach is best, and since this deck isn't exactly making any friends, I say we embrace our stax lords.

Yeah I'll yay Ashnod's Altar, of course. I'm still not sure what Lifeline is getting back. Are we excited to bring back Solemn Simulacrum and Filigree Familiar (and that's fine, anything that can justify adding robo doggo to the mix is good in my book)? This feels like something that should table.

For today we'll put @gsgfdf and @aliciaofthevast on the clock.

Desecrate Reality yay - 2 nay - 3
Lifeline yay - 1 nay - 0
Ashnod's Altar yay - 1 nay - 0

I'll yay the Altar, which looks like it gets taken to 3 votes now.

Ohhhh, wait I was up? Well how about Calamity of the Titans? We can't have just All is Dust after all.

Nay on Lifeline, I don't think we can leverage that more than the aristocrats decks out there.

For my nomination I will suggest Oblivion Sower, easy on the mana and it may act as a win con down the line.

Hmm. I'd yay Calamity of the Titans. It's a better option than Perilous Vault (high mv) and O-Stone/Nev Disk will both eat our rocks. Think it's a necessity. I'm gonna stop dancing around it and just put the nay on Lifeline. I'm open to revisiting when we have something to nab with it, as of yet it's just a 5mv durdle piece.

What is Oblivion Sower doing here? It's just a 5/8 with a niche etb? How many lands regularly get exiled in your games? I don't get it. I'm gonna nay this until someone explains to me what it's good for.

Finishing the cycle is me, and starting the next cycle let's put @MrBloo on the clock. I think I'm gonna go with worn powerstone on legs, Palladium Myr. Why not, we want things that tap for more than one right?

Lifeline yay - 1 nay - 2
Calamity of the Titans yay - 1 nay - 0
Oblivion Sower yay - 0 nay - 1
Palladium Myr yay - 0 nay - 0

Nay Lifeline and Oblivion Sower. I don't think Lifeline does enough to justify it being included, especially since it also helps opponents, and Sower is just sort of an expensive value play. Sure, flopping over two lands feels great with Sower, but we're already going to be running a plethora of ramp at a lower price point and I don't think six mana for +1-2 lands and a good body is where we want to be.

Yea Calamity of the Titans and Palladium Myr, as we need removal and ramp

Would Ugin, the Spirit Dragon be a legal nomination? The cheapest version is juuuuust under $35. It's one of the few expensive spells I am willing to cast because of how powerful the effects is and he often is able to stick around after cleanly wiping the board while basically keeping all of yours. Let me know if this is no go and I will think of another nomination.

Nay to Lifeline, nay Oblivion Sower.
Yay Calamity and yay Palladium Myr

Looks like the M21 price shows $26 so well under the guide. I imagine Ugin is strong enough that people would still yay it though. Like I'm going to do right now.

Ooh, Ugin. I for one will yay our dragon overlord. Palladium Myr too. I am not sold on Oblivion Sower. How often does it actually hit? These cards that look at the top X cards in a 99 card deck always feel like a whiff to me, idk maybe I'm wrong. I think that's a nay for that reason.

Sower was weird for me. The Timmy part of me was like ooh an eldrazi that does stuff, then I realize that at its best, it's a 6 mana 5/8 that ramps you 4 (it won't, people don't run lands unless they're playing a lands deck) at a point where you probably won't need much more ramping and would rather be doing something more impactful and at its worst it's a 6 mana 5/8 that permanently mills 4 which is extra mediocre for me.

Think it's pretty clear that we can break parity on the best stax piece in the format, so that's a yay from me!

Not many two drops lets go for warping wail. Negate with more playable modes in colorless seems pretty good to me.

Yay on Warping Wail

For my nomination I want to suggest adding some of the bombs typical colorless decks run. Let's start with a new one, Rise of the Eldrazi.
