I would like to suggest Domineering Will. You can steal some blockers to help protect yourself. Alternatively, if they attack elsewhere, you can ruin combat math.
Still working permanents (need about 8 more before we start working instants and sorceries)

I'm really awful at reading instructions!

Okay, hear me out: Coveted Jewel. It's card draw/ramp, and it will definitely get you attacked.

I am going to nominate Revel in Riches. If everything goes according to plan, deaths will add up,. boardwipes might be delayed by it. Treasures are also very good for our 5 colors and we have Trove of Temptation nominated.. Finally, it ofders us another path to victory and something to do with all our effects should O-kagachi get turned-off.

In the interest of casting our spells: Prismatic Omen.
(what did you want, Chromatic Lantern? That's waaaay too obvious)

Duelist's Heritage - good with our general, good with our forced attack cards (since you can target opponent's creatures) and has some political implications.

Darksteel Ingot
Three mana, but survives mass removal yet is innocent enough to avoid targeted removal. Lantern is better but sometimes you just need a little push.

Staff of Domination.
Gains life, draws cards, and goes infinite with a couple of our creatures.

Note:
I won't be offended if someone recommends this on the cut section because they are against infinite combos.
I've just always liked one solid out-of-nowhere win condition, and this fits.

I'll nominate Treasure Map // Treasure Cove. Can help fix early, turns into a draw engine later on, seems we have a possible minor treasure sub theme with Revel in Riches and if we go with that, I'll have a few other nominations.

Just going for the boring stuff to make sure cards can be cast...Arcane Signet.

Because I'm curious how good it is: Manascape Refractor
(in the event that it can't be played due to lack of availability, I'll instead nominate Spear of Heliod)

Fellwar Stone
It's classic, enters untapped, taps for at least one of our five colors, maybe all of them.

I'll continue down a similar path as my last suggestion with Unbender Tine.
Was this not counted? :<

We've got some creatures that want haste and some creatures we'd like to protect, so I'll toss in Swiftfoot Boots.

Curse of Opulence
It's another one drop that may give us some extra ramp.

Sarkhan Unbroken.

Sarkhan provides us card draw and a decent creature maker. Although his ultimate isn't as devastating in this deck, we can easily go between +1 and -2, and if we somehow get enough, we do have at least a couple fat dragons to fetch.

Teferi, Hero of Dominaria might have some upperhand on Sarkhan, but we don't seem to be wanting to keep mana open as much as getting it on our turn. That, and sometimes playing the slightly different choice is a change of pace that makes things more interesting and fun.

I nominate Luminarch Ascension.

Either people attack into you and suffer vengeance in return, or they let you have buckets of angels.

Unfortunately, the time for nominating creatures has past. If we don't get enough spell nominations in a timely manner, and as long as nobody objects, we can add this in before we start cutting cards.

Though, I admit I was a bit sad nobody commented on the quote in the (former) thead title - so I removed it...

Rakdos Charm looks.like it can be a nice piece of hate. With 5 colors we're not likely playing Scavenger Grounds, so an instant piece of graveyard hate might save us from graveyard shenanigans. Artifact hate always comes really handy and even the last mode can punish token decks or others go-wide strategies that don't care much about being forced to attack.

Back at you - thanks for running this!
(also, I would have commented, but the reference went over my head. x.x)

Anyway.... I'll suggest All Suns' Dawn as a big recursion spell.

"Group Think" is a term/theme from the novel 1984, so I had appended another term from the same novel "Double Plus Good"*

For those that have not read it, one of the themes of the novel is that society is being "dumbed down" (to make compliance easier) and one of the ways Big Brother (you knew this novel is where that term comes from, right) accomplishes this is by slowly removing words and terms from the language. There is no more "better," "great," or "best" - something is either good, plus good, or double plus good (likewise bad, plus bad, double plus bad).
