Slightly random question. Can any of you think of any non-creature, red or green cards that depict apes? I'm considering Gruul apes as a theme for my Jumpstart cube, but the only thing I can think of is Bestial Fury.

My ultimate goal is to make a hybrid Kicker/Trapper Assassin since they can do all content in the game with just a few gear changes and are interesting to play.

Back in college I had an insane hybrid sin - eni, arachnid, griffs, elite trap claw and chaos, shadow boots, full inventory of 40+ life skillers, and my prized possession, a self-found perfect 20/20/10 anni. Whole thing must have gotten deleted when I stopped playing though.

EDIT: finished nightmare today. See if I can get through hell tomorrow!

EDIT 2: Holy cow, got through A3 hell. That was pure misery.

EDIT 3: Finished last night. Didn't really get much useful loot which made it pretty hard, didn't replace my basic stealth armor until hell meph dropped the unique ghost armor, which was a big improvement but still only level 28 =/ and I was 60+ at that point. Somehow never found a monarch to make a spirit shield either, nor a remotely interesting orb so I made a spirit crystal sword. At least I got some decent runes, pretty much everything Ko and lower. My char was a balls-to-the-wall (frozen orb + fire wall) sorc named spork.

Not entirely sure what to do next - I used to do pvp with my hybrid sin but I never liked the actual dueling as much as I liked trying to get perfect gear, mostly via trading on d2jsp (which is apparently still a thing, holy cow). I like running through the game but there's not much point in doing farming runs if my only goal is to complete the game. I guess I could try to get enough gear for an uber character, that's about all I can think of. That or see if I can complete a hardcore run. Probably not with sorc, I died...so many times...stupid bone fetishes...

What's y'all's best finds so far? I got an ohm off Andy, and a highlords amulet. Though my favourite find might be my eth skull collector just because it looks so rad.

Traded my Gul for a very good Necro Torch, so I have Shako and a Torch while using a white +3 Bone Spear wand and a random +1 Necro skills shield. My belt is a poison res FHR piece of garbage and my gloves are literally just 19% mf. Two BIS items, a Vipermagi, and the rest total garbage.

This game is so satisfying. I should be able to find stuff in Hell to trade for Trang gloves, belt, and shield to switch to Poison Nova immediately after killing Hell Baal. The itch hasn't even begun to be scratched.

I've been playing a ton of D2R for the last couple weeks, mostly MF on my blizz sorc so far. Just found a Sur off of Baal mobs a couple days ago. Traded that for a Lo to make Grief for my pally (found 2 Mal while leveling), so it's time to actually level him up now. I also managed to find 2 Mara's in the same day, a 21 and a 30, so I definitely can't complain about my luck so far.

This was actually the first time I've played a fresh character through hell Baal SSF, so that was fun. Merc definitely does a lot of work against cold immunes.

After a lot of soul searching (for lack of a better phrase), I've decided that my Magic days are behind me. I've been trying to tell myself that I wasn't just losing interest and it was merely the pandemic keeping me from playing, but really the pandemic just gave me the necessary perspective to focus on my priorities. So with the exception of a few decks which I'll keep in case I'm hanging with friends and they want to play or I change my mind down the road, I'm going to sell my entire collection.

It's been a wild ride this last decade and I've definitely made some good friends (as well as an enemy or two) in the process. I want to thank all my fellow mods and especially Feyd for all their hard work here and back in the Sally days. But most importantly, I want to thank all our awesome users who made the site what it is. Y'all seriously rock.
