Aw shucks, happy to have made you smile. Moonlighter deserves the real credit though, that %$#% is comedy gold lol :P
What I love about yours is the reasonable critique of it at first, and then only at the very end realizing such a basic fact that "...Oh, it's a sorcery... That makes it so Much WORSE!"

Moonlighter's is hella clever.

✔️

I opened my MH2 box today. I bought one only because our LGS was having a hard time with nobody pre ordering any boxes and having to order his stock well before we do ours.

Highlights are:
According to the tool we have built in its like, $480 in current pre order prices but I am sure a lot of that will tank in a week. Still even just getting 5 rare lands and some really good fetches of them too is really spicy.

Noice 👍

4 fetches is pretty banging, and depending on how you feel about squirrels either you don't have to order him or you can probably sell/trade him for a solid bit of value too. The rest of that looks like solid roleplayers.

Went to a prerelease yester and got
As my sealed pool rares. Went 2-1-1, won two packs and played flip-it-or-rip-it with them (as is my tradition with prize packs). My friend ripped my void mirror, but saved a Scalding Tarn on the second pack.

Yesterday was a good day. :D

I am still waiting on my booster box, will pick that up this weekend. I played in a prerelease on Saturday and ended up purchasing several extra prerelease packs o play sealed with my wife and friends who weren't able to attend the event. I came out solidly in the middle, got 3 set boosters as prize packs. My prerelease pool included Damn, two copies of Dauthi Voidwalker, Cabal Coffers, Profane Tutor and the storm dino. My prize packs netted me a third Voidwalker and an old-border Scalding Tarn. My wife and I each opened a prerelease pack and are playing with those. I don't know all of what she pulled yet, but I do know she got the monkey and Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth and her promo foil was Arid Mesa, while my prerelease pack netted me another copy of Damn, Sterling Grove and another (regular border) Scalding Tarn, plus the Rishadan Dockhand who I guess is a big deal in some formats and I hope to trade for something I can actually use.

I also went to the pre-release over the weekend. My sealed pull did not have particularly great rares at all.
Carth the Lion, Sol Talisman, Wonder, Tourach, Dread Cantor, Search the Premises, Inevitable Betrayal, Shardless Agent, Magus of the Bridge. So basically just Tourach, Dread Cantor as a hard core bomb.

That being said my uncommons were hot fire and I went 4-0 absolutely obliterating everyone. I lost only one game when I kept a sketchy 1-land hand. I built GB splashing WUR for Radiant Epicure/Wonder/Prophetic Titan. I had 2x Radiant Epicure + Step Through/Timeless Witness. I'd lock down the early game with Jade Avengers/removal. Get some chip damage in and then drain them for 5 twice with Radiant Epicure.

The best highlights of the weekend. Game 1.
T1 - Swamp
T2 - Swamp + Ornithopter of Paradise
T3 - Swamp + Ornithopter of Paradise
T4 - Swamp + Prophetic Titan
My opponent:
------
T4 - Kicked Tourach, Dread Cantor
T5 - Radiant Epicure paying WUBRG
-------
Kept a 1 land. Turn 2, miss land drop. Discard Wonder.
-------
Opponent at 16, casts two spells. Endstep Hunting Pack for 3. Untap, bash for 12, Radiant Epicure for lethal.
-------
Clogged boardstate. End step Hunting Pack for 2. Untap, Vile Entomber for Wonder. Swing lethal.

I opened Sword of Hearth and Home|65403 out of a prize pack. Pretty pleased about that.

That one part of that one sentence certainly punches above its weight class, lol.

Earlier today I played a really fun back and forth game against Historic Elves with my Historic Tribal Tribal deck.

The Elves player got off to a fast start with a 6 Elves plus plus a Collected Company on turn 3, but was a little lord light which allowed me to Bonecrusher Giant // Stomp his one lord and gum up the ground by chaining Changelings thanks to Risen Reef. Eventually he started finding lords and eventually a Finale of Devastation to turn all of his Elves into 14/14. I had to trade my entire board except Lathliss, Dragon Queen and a Tangled Florahedron // Tangled Vale just to survive while he lost none. The next turn I draw and play a land and then pass. I am pretty sure he thought he won as he attacked with everything and didn't see that I had mana to activate The World Tree. I grabbed all of the Changelings remaining in my deck, making a ton of dragons and wiping out his board. Next turn I swing back and take him to -33 life.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. I was really worried I was being hella greedy, but I didn't get punished at all. I did have a ton of fixing though and wasn't actually splashing a ton. It was all GB plus an Island, Wonder and Prophetic Titan. I had a bunch of artifact duals, 2x Ornithopter of Paradise, Rift Sower, World-Weary and Terramorph.

Wonder + 1 Island in the deck with no discard outlets was pretty hilarious.

Uh-oh. My mother-in-law just liked one of my tweets where I had a chicken perched on my shoulder. Which means she probably also saw a later tweet of "secret lair: hidden dicks".

So I guess I need to start censoring my Tweets now.

I've heard about it round the way and I think it was mostly good stuff. Worth a watch? I'm almost finished with the Good Place for the second time around so I'm keen for something to transition to.

I enjoyed it overall, though I do have a few points of annoyance with it (which is why I want to talk about it lol). But it's been very well reviewed, so I think I'm in the minority on those points.

Perhaps we should debrief once I've smashed it out then and compare notes

I just started going through Band of Brothers again since it has been at least a decade since I watched it. Show's pretty good.

I also recently watched Invincible. That show is also solid.

I'm regressing tv wise. A buddy of mine linked me to a YouTube compilation of all the Beavis and Butt-Head music video segments (5 hours worth) and I binged it. Then started rewatching the series. Then started learning the opening theme on guitar..

I honestly have never laughed at anything harder than Beavis and Butt-Head.. no idea why but it's just the funniest show possibly ever. It cracks me up even by myself. It's especially hilarious to catch all the political and social commentary which is buried in there that I didn't notice as a 13 year old.

I really enjoyed Invincible too. It stands apart from most superhero cartoons in the sheer number of three dimensional characters and the strength of its narrative. Can't wait for season 2!

Middle Earth: Shadow of War controls on computer with Dualshock controller are plain stupid. I am trying xbox gamepass for a month but i don't think that there are enough games to keep me entertained. I do like the rpg Solasta though.

The way Wizards prints sets now makes me feel like an idiot. Is every card in Modern Horizons 2 available in both standard and etched foil? I even read the overly long article on the mothership about this and I'm still unsure.

According to this article there are sixteen variants if we include different foilings as well. So, um, yeah.
