Jace while in disguise (mask) is being puppeteered into murdering (body+knives) somebody after receiving a message from someone we think is dead (skull).
This entity is doing this to open the door to its prison and find a way out (map), while avoiding the watchful sentry (gargoyle) and its minions (thrulls).
The entity is from an Un-set (Acorn).
Urza's head is trying to enter legal MtG.

Bolas will be reborn as a hatchling Urza's head is going to pop out from an egg, like a chick. A magical egg, yeah.
There was this old MtG novel which involved using Dragon eggs as bombs, and while Dragons are extremely rare on Ravnica (although recently more have been popping up, like Utvara Hellkite), a big plot point in one of the Guildpact novels is the discovery of viable Dragon eggs.
So, the explosive power of Dragon eggs is going to used to fuel Bolas' escape Urza's entry into the canon.

Here it is the Epilogue story
https://magic.wizards.com/en/news/magic ... -and-omens
Looks like Niv-mizzet is attempting to turn ravnica into what domnaria was before the mending. Aka trying to turn ravnica into mtg's Sigil in D&D world (portal of doors which connects to every single plane in the D&D world) I think he's attempting to once and for all end the mending.
Which is also what Kylox's secret project was and one member of each guild is in on his project
ps: yes niv was very well aware that trostani (one third) was infact the killer he had this project as a bigger priority to do rather than dealing with oba.
For those wonder on the solution to puzzle thirteen
you Gather one letter from each solution MKM corresponding card into the word to make a sentence
the objects in the answer cards that are in the MKM cards indicate which MKM you need the letters from the put the cases in particular order.
when you gather all the letters it makes the sentence... *Drum roll*
"The way is open" (no spaces in the answer box) once you type that it will give you the link for the epilogue story

Drink ya Ovaltine, kids!
Etrata was seriously considering when was the best time to knock out Proft and retreat. "Apologies, Firemind, but he is delirious you see, from lack of sleep. Overwork. His mind has collapsed."
I was hoping for a bit more than that, but ah well. At least the reward was an actual epilogue, thus a bit more satisfying than "Remember this: They came as three."

Interesting.
Niv is incorrigible in terms of interest in extraplanar stuff. I remember when the prevailing theory from Ravnica block 1 onward was that he was trying to artificially create his own PW spark.
