I think this kind of a card is sort of a litmus test of your kitchen table meta. For the very starting players this reads as something not really worthwhile, then they start to think about cheating on mana value and it becomes cute, but sooner or later they will figure out both the sacrifice synergy with the tribe and the fact, that the best way to use it is to have a singular big target in deck and only token other zombies.
Experiencing both the depth of mechanics and progressing ability to make decks more competetive is how I remember my high-school meta. We all started as Timmies, but at the end-year we were all either Johnnies or Spikes.

Well said. This is a niche card that can result in a more resilient (and fun) wincon than a bunch of Zombie tokens that can be readily wrathed or blocked.

in terms of ice age he survives pyroclasm and is great when untapped by Lapis Lazuli Talisman (responding to any number of IA/AL cheap cantrips which were sanely balanced back in the day) <3 looks silly now but i prefer the silly

This one is interesting. It is good against either utility creatures or someone who is trying to keep their creatures for chumpimg, but to be honest I recall most of kitchen decks are rather aggresive - droping opponent to 0 is the main wincon, after all - so forced attacking may not work as good as it sounds. If you are playing casual multiplayer better use some mass goading.
I want to say that Smite and similiar removal might be a good call for this. I remember having deck with such cards, albeit UW, and my friends quickly learned to not attack me into open mana. With this Curse they would not have any say in whether they attack.

It beats utility creatures for sure, but sadly not really mana dorks, necessarily.

Dragon Arch is one of those strange Invasion block artifacts that feel kind of out of place. Still, one of the better ones.

Chain Lightning is just about as good as Lightning Bolt copies 5-8!
