Wake the Past is compelling but relatively hard to use because of the lack of e.g. self-mill in those colors. Still, Lorehold's artifacts/graveyard thing is maybe my favorite ever theme.

not bad at all. Only cost one mana, and make a 4/4 for 2 mana. Should go well with the indestructible artifact lands that produce .

I seem to recall the first MTG novel had a Wall of Wood block a Lord of the Pit. Maybe this card was their attempt to make the situation more believable.

yeah, that's good one drop in an Arcades deck. Protects you from being bum-rushed by fast aggro.

Vampiric Touch is so uninteresting and bad - bad enough that even the likes of Vicious Hunger is better - that I'll just ignore it. Enchantress's Presence is extremely powerful even today and Overabundance is a card that carries fun memories for me.

Great way to quickly end games with anything that damages opponents for drawing cards.

This kind of ability has shown up on a number of cards and it's always overpriced, neat, but overpriced.
