oh, the Invasion djinn cycle, brings back good memories. When we were beginners to the game, my brother had the black djinn in his ub deck - and it was hard for me to get rid of - due to the fact that my deck back then was a jank rwg deck where most creatures are smaller than the djinn. Fun to be beginnner.

facing a Squallmonger with an Armadillo Cloak on it as a young player traumatized me forever and made me overvalue every pestilence and every lifelink effect printed since ))) i still love 'em all

anyway, good old armadillo cloak. Have a memory of this is facing off against another beginner years ago. My Penumbra wurm enchanted with armadillo cloak, elephant guide, and powered up by mirari's wake for a 12/12 total -- facing off against a Jareth Leonin Titan -- both of us could not attack, he would just add one more blocker and my wurm would die. That standoff lasted for quite awhile. Forgot how that game ended..

One of my oldest casual decks uses Armadillo Cloak and Crypt Rats.
