Titles & Recognition

I was posting a section of the CR into a post and the mana tags really didn't like it. The text in question was:

"305.6. The basic land types are Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest. If an object uses the words "basic land type," it's referring to one of these subtypes. A land with a basic land type has the intrinsic ability "{T}: Add [mana symbol]," even if the text box doesn't actually contain that text or the object has no text box. For Plains, [mana symbol] is {W}; for Islands, {U}; for Swamps, {B}; for Mountains, {R}; and for Forests, {G}. See rule 107.4a. See also rule 605, "Mana Abilities."

If I just paste it without the noparse tags, it looks like the below. It looks like it is the fact that it says [mana symbol] which then causes the rest of the text to be parsed as though it had those symbols. If I remove the word "mana" from both locations, it comes out correctly. Not sure there is a good fix for this but I did find it somewhat odd that it tried to parse them without a closing tag (and it included more than just the word "mana" in the "tag"):

Because we used advanced tags, with parameters, [Mana anything here] is interpreted as a Mana tag with a bad parameter that's ignored.

You'll have to noparse it.
