If you post pictures of the biscuits and gravy you make with some minor evidence of them actually being in New Zealand, I promise to add an addendum.
Current EDH Decks: DirkGently's Phelddagrif
Current cEDH: Selvala Brostorm
Retired EDH: Korvold, Goreclaw, Emry, ISBPathfinder's Sythis
Legacy: Burn

There's no biscuits and gravy in New Zealand.
(Except when DirkGently makes them!)

Lol, yeah, a product of building decks constantly, and having played for a long time. I am EDHD incarnate.

I've only ever got ~6 decks together at a time, though, once I get bored they get disassembled to be turned into something new (except the perm decks ofc).

That is a mighty fine photograph, yes sir. As promised, your legacy as the culinary pioneer responsible for single-handedly importing an American breakfast classic into the distant lands of New Zealand has been forever enshrined in my humble signature. Countless future generations of New Zealanders will prosper and be satisfied by the echoes of your bold actions today, I'm sure of it!

Damn, I'm hungry now. A very fine photograph indeed!

So I have been loving Breakfast Poutines, which must be a Quebec-only type of food. Breakfast potatoes, eggs, cheese curds. Instead of gravy you get Hollandaise. Then you have all the Benedict options - with brie and mushrooms, or a bunch of vegetables, or meat, etc.

If any of you head to Montreal I recommend a breakfast poutine.
I can also provide suggestions for other meals lol.

I've had that! Honestly, benedict with hollandaise isn't too unheard of here, it's just not common either. I wish it wass an option at more diners here in the states, I really think people would love it

Do they put gravy or bechamel?
Hollandaise is just so darn good.

If they had a Secret Lair with an Eggs Benedict Food token I would buy it. Even if the rest of the secret lair was something I didn't care about. Picturing Secret Lair : Hell's Kitchen.

I bet you could get a stack of 52 tokens with custom art printed, lots of sites that do custom pics, or even custom sleeves if you wanna go a convoluted route

Bechamel is pretty common as well, but tbh even having the OPTION of eggs benedict at anything outside of like "fine dining" restaurants is rare here, at least in my experience. People have this weird obsession here with the classes eating different foods, but tbh the working class won, we got pretty much every other breakfast food haha

I used to make a lot of custom tokens in my free time, and I have to say, it's nice easy way to add a lot of personal flavor in your free time. It's not even that hard to make them yourself, as all you need is a photo editing software, a printer, scissors, a basic land, and a card sleeve. Slide the cutout token into the the sleeve with basic land and viola, you got yourself a custom token that is ready to use.

Also it's nice to see MTGNexus become a regular fixture on the preview wagon.

Looks more like a generic evil tower, a bit like Sauron's turret if anything. There's only the one tower, and no real connecting membrane.

I'm going to start building a JumpStart cube. It's kind of tough trying to make some archetypes work. For instance, JumpStart Horizons doesn't seem to have had the same effort put into it as the original. The modular one, for instance, only had four artifact creatures in it! I couldn't make that stupid deck work. The madness one was every hit or miss too. I wouldn't even know where to begin with madness. You only have twelve cards to make it work, and something like madness needs enablers and payoffs.

Anyway, I want it to be interesting, and I want there to be a LOT of options. Suggestions or tips appreciated.

I would recommend making a thread for people to pitch ideas on. I know with some jumpstart cubes people have a list of 24 cards that could be in the pack where as others have just made the pack of 12 cards which are the same each time. I would gladly discuss this in much greater detail with you some time.
Modern: Goryo's Gifts | Heartless Architect | Soul Sisters | MonoGreen Devotion
Pauper: Blackened Eggs | Zombies | Zoo | Sultai Teachings
EDH:Bladewing | Blind Seer | Zuberi | He Who Hungers

I played some Storybook Brawl yesterday. That game is free on steam and pretty fun if anyone is in an auto-battler mood.

^Roll on Arena getting a bigger share of the card pool. people trying to protect their "investments" always end up with power over a scene, which is why emulation and digital archiving is becoming such a big thing in gaming, books, music, film, comics and magazines etc. otherwise you let the physical hoarders shutter away the entire hobby. M:TG being a face-to-face thing makes it hard to deal with dealers intentionally bottle-necking the supply of cards which is why I support proxies in every case and don't put too much stock in cautionary tales about how players might use that freedom to breach social contracts. better than investors smashing the entire point of the game to bits
