Greaves. I only need Boots in the corner cases where I need to target the protected creature often enough. Also because Leonin Shikari makes it just silly.

Eldrazi Monument. If I need the indestructible, its usually for a large team. Soul of New Phyrexia is very difficult to activate at the right time. The Monument also provides pump and evasion and doesn't require mana open constantly to protect the board.

Filter land cycle. Guaranteed ETBuntapped and you can afford many more different costs if talking about one land alone.

Helm of Awakening. The amount of shenanigans it allows is insane, whereas Sphere is just a boring stax piece.

vs
EDH Decks:

Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis - Arise, Lord Hogaak.
Grumgully, the Generous - The wonderful world of Ferngully.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw Cards Tribal.
Pir, Imaginative Rascal & Toothy, Imaginary Friend - Imaginary Superfriends.
Selvala, Explorer Returned - Taxes, Denial and Fatties.
Selvala, Heart of the Wilds - Dinos and Eldrazis, oh my.
Ayara, First of Locthwain - March of the Black Queen.
Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh - Chandra Tribal.
Golos, Tireless Pilgrim - Curious Contraptions

Tough decision. Both are tasty. Probably zegana though. Without a lot of creatures she is better. But without a big creature she kind of flops. Easier to get big creatures than a lot though (except in token decks)

Will. Soft removal as the plus is better than forcing attacks and that -2 is insane.

Hour. Convoke overrides the fact that there will be a smattering of survivors, and there are often decks that run few if any creature tokens that get completely flattened by it.

My vote is definitely the Damnation. That card is powerful, though the Wrath is more "iconic." Damnation gives black an efficient boardwipe in the color with the most destructive removal toward creatures.

JTMS is not as powerful in EDH as he was in standard and I am gonna guess modern. Skullclam is very common Staple for most decks.

Pro red is honestly probably more useful in my local meta, so I'd go with Silver Knight, but it really comes down to which removal color is more prominent.

Gotta go with the classic reassembling skeleton, even though they're both pretty sweet.

My vote would be Phenax because it kills players quicker due to mill. It can also enable self mill and is not dependent on the opponent having cards in the graveyard.

Mind Twist for its flexibility and less pip intensive mana cost.

How did I gloss over Runic Armasaur? I need to get that card!

Verity Circle is more abusable, as you can force your opponent's creatures to tap to draw cards whenever you need, so the effect is stronger, but it's less of a step up for blue than the Armasaur is in green, so I'm going with the Armasaur.

Sepulchral Primordial. ETB triggers are generally more reliable than Ninjutsu and is more abuseable, while everyone will see repeated Ink-Eyes coming from miles away.

Vannifar because I can potentially do it more than once.

Here's one I'm considering for my Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma deck:

I could see myself building a deck that looks like it was built around Challenger Troll, but Wolfir feels more tame in comparison. Troll gets my vote.

Grenzo - partly because I like him as a character, and also because he does more and costs less.

Song of the Dryads. It hits more targets and enables forestwalk, and green needs it more than blue does.

Zendikar Resurgent. Don't get me wrong, The Great Henge is amazing, but the raw power of a mana doubler wins games.

Extraplanar Lens - Nothing against Mirari's Wake-alikes but the Lens is ramp at half the cost, and ramp that costs not a lot of mana is way more valuable.

Except that Lens does have a high cost, you have to play extremely high basic land count, you lose your initial imprint land, and other players can also benefit from your investment. Caged Sun doesn't have any of that. I still appreciate the high ceiling Lens has but I traded my copy away and don't miss it much.

I like Godsire more than Blood Tyrant. It has a cooler name and it's ability can accumulate value. 8/8 tokens are no joke.

Sword of light and shadow because its protection is more relevant.

Ertai, Wizard Adept counts as a Wizard.
