On Nurbrak, the great cities managed to evade the Churn of Continents by taking to the sky, a feat once thought impossible. But in the Skies of Nurbrak, new threats have emerged. When the air cities being assaulted by wind elementals and violent storms, they're being raided for their resources by other cities. What's more, the shamans and elementalists on the surface resent the cities, and plot to wipe them from the sky itself.

On Nurbrak, the great cities managed to evade the Churn of Continents by taking to the sky, a feat once thought impossible. But in the Skies of Nurbrak, new threats have emerged. When the air cities being assaulted by wind elementals and violent storms, they're being raided for their resources by other cities. What's more, the shamans and elementalists on the surface resent the cities, and plot to wipe them from the sky itself.

On Nurbrak, the great cities managed to evade the Churn of Continents by taking to the sky, a feat once thought impossible. But in the Skies of Nurbrak, new threats have emerged. When the air cities being assaulted by wind elementals and violent storms, they're being raided for their resources by other cities. What's more, the shamans and elementalists on the surface resent the cities, and plot to wipe them from the sky itself.

There have been explosive changes on Raythar, with the autocratic Travelers revealed as time-lost pre-Mending planeswalkers and Kam, the young woman who led the people to defy them, as a tiny splinter of Emrakul's essence. Thauma is still mined and towers still rise, but on behalf of new popular associations, armies, and cults, who believe they can lead everyone to a higher existence using the mystic Stairways of Raythar.
