CCL September Finals

"Ranks of Knights"
Welcome to the Card Creation League! Everyone is free to participate in either or both of the first two rounds. Come join us!

Theme

It's Knight Month here in the CCL! We will focus on more realistic approach to these type of warriors and on some of the diffrences that put them apart from the other fighters.

There are many famous knights. Yet there are even more of them, that participated in great conflicts, were outfitted in beatiful armanents, knew their trade and adhered to feudal system, yet are forgotten to us. If anything, a knight was not only that: it was first and foremost human, and each knight's life wnt diffrently, even if shaped by similiar circumstances. From honourable Zawisa the Black that exemplified knightly virtues, through brave and pious Joan of Arc that had a tragic end, civil and reasonable Renald from Chatillon that at the same time had warmongering and almost bloodthirsty streak, Baldwin IV, who struggled with leprosy from the young age and managed to rule and fight in times where that illness was one of the most shunned by people, murderous - or atleast consider by many as such - Gilles de Rais, whose life is a constant spiral downwards, to Stephen, count of Blois, who had a life lacking both courage and luck. And many more, each with their own, unique character and story of life. Just as all human.
