Welcome to the Card Creation League! Everyone is free to participate in either or both of the first two rounds. Come join us!

Theme

It's Tarkir Month on CCL! This month we'll be exploring the dragoniest block that ever dragoned. It brought with it a lot to love, much of it that wasn't even dragons. We'll be exploring the design challenges presented by its themes with some focus on wedge design.

Challenge: Design two cards — (1) a wedge colored planeswalker card, and (2) an enemy-colored command card (either a spell or the ETB ability of a permanent).

Clarifications:
  • A command is a modal card with four options of which you choose two. Current examples: the monocolor command cycle and the ally-color command cycle. There exists one enemy-colored command at the time of writing: Kaya's Guile.
  • For the purposes of this challenge, a command permanent has an ETB that is a command modal effect. See for example Knight of Autumn and Charming Prince which similarly are charm permanents. Be mindful of the rules text space you have available around the modal ability.
  • Your planeswalker must be exactly three wedge colors, not merely color identity.
  • Flip walkers will be acceptable as long as there's a planeswalker side with three colors.
  • The cards do not have to be set on Tarkir.
Your submissions are tentatively due Wednesday, May 6th, 23:59 EST.

Wedge Planeswalker:
Calix, Denouncer of Gods 1WBG
Legendary Planeswalker — Calix (Mythic)
+1: Look at the top three cards of your library. Put any number of them into your graveyard and the rest back on top of your library in any order.
−4: Exile target nonland permanent. Put up to one target permanent card in your graveyard on top of your library.
−6: You get an emblem with "Whenever a card is put into your graveyard from anywhere, each opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life."
Loyalty: 4

Enemy Colored Command:

Mizzium Epiphanies 3UR
Sorcery (Rare)
Choose two —
• Gain control of target creature until end of turn. Untap it. It gains haste until end of turn.
• Create a 3/3 blue and red Elemental Weird creature token with haste.
• Create a token that's a copy of a creature you control.
• Sacrifice a creature. Mizzium Epiphanies deals damage equal to that creature's power to any target.
