Welcome to the DCC!
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to post in the DCC Discussion Thread.
How To Play
How does this card-making game work? It's simple! Whenever your card receives a vote, you receive [1] point for the month. If your card ends up with the most votes for that day, you will receive [2] additional points for the month. In the event of a tie, each person who tied receives [1] additional point. At the end of each month, the person with the most points on the scoreboard wins that month, then the scoreboard is cleared for the next month. You can participate in as many or as few days as you want in any month.
Rules
- Each day you may post any card you want. On the next day all of the posted cards will be put into the thread as long as your card didn't get disqualified - see the next point for more details. If you post more than one card in a DCC thread, only the first card you post will be taken.
- When you vote, you need to make exactly two votes for two different people. Vote for the cards that are listed in the first post, not other cards being posted in the thread. If you notice that you've only voted for one person, include your second vote in a post, even if you're not submitting a card.
- If you want to change your vote for any reason, post that change in the day's thread (you can include it with your card if you want). Changed votes in the discussion thread will be ignored.
- Voting for only one person, for three or more people, or for yourself will earn you an asterisk by your name in the monthly leaderboard. So will failing to vote if you've posted a card. (We're not going to do anything about people who don't vote or post cards; that would be kind of silly.) This indicates that you're on probation for the next 21 days. If you're on probation and you make another improper vote, your card will be disqualified. Repeated disqualification is grounds for warnings and/or infractions for not following the game rules, so please don't do it.
- Voting for everything in the poll will be grounds for a lifetime ban from the DCC. Don't do it. It just wastes the thread creators' time.
- If you wish to post a render, please use the hyperlink option when posting your card and make the card name the image link. Renders are usually large enough to clog up the list, so submit a text-formed card and (optionally) a link in the name to the render.
- This thread is just for your card submission. Take your questions/comments to our discussion thread. If it's a question, comment, or complaint about probation, PM void_nothing and/or the month's DCC organizer.
- When posting make sure that:
- You have included all of the previous day's entries.
- You update the leaderboard with the previous day's scores.
Notes of the Day
I find new and fascinating ways to lose Throne of Eldraine draft. I never thought I could be worse at a format than I was at Ixalan draft, but I guess I was wrong.

Book of Lost Dreams
Artifact (U)
Adamant — When Book of Lost Dreams enters the battlefield, if three or more black mana was spent to cast it, each opponent discards two cards.
At the beginning of each opponent's upkeep, if that player has one or fewer cards in hand, they lose 3 life.
The saddest tales are those that are left untold.

Today and in the next two days, a three-card mini-cycle in Bant colors inspired by Innistrad. These three cards are supposed to be set at a time before Liliana resurrects Mikaeus in the original Innistrad block.Honorable mentions and repliesShowHideRithaniel — One thought that I had was: "Wasn't Vhedrasa supposed to be red AND white?" Then, I answered myself that this card, the Phoenix, probably represents the red part of him... her... it... them... (? I don't really know which pronoun is the proper one for Vhedrasa.), with another card representing... Vhedrasa's white aspect (At this point, I'll just do it like for Ashiok, mentioning the name every time).
As for you card today, I really like the idea, but it just needs some kind of memory aid. I'd make it an enchantment with hexproof that enters with three counters, at the beginning of each upkeep you draw a card and remove one counter, and when you remove the last counter you sacrifice it. Yes, a much longer wording, but you avoid all memory issues that way, and it could even easily keep the same flavor.
(EDIT: Or another even better idea. Use vanishing! Just make it an enchantment with hexproof, vanishing 3, and "Whenever a time counter is removed from CARDNAME, draw a card.")
Also, I know of a certain someone (Maro) that would tell you that this out of the color pie because green's card draw must be tied to its creatures and this is not in any way.
netn10 — In Deny, a pretty important part is missing. "If you do, counter that spell..." Yes, but what spell? You've never mentioned it before! Either the sentence "Counter target spell" is missing at the start of Deny's rules text, or "counter that spell if..." should become "counter target spell if..."
Flatline — The Adventure being just "create a Food" is the exact same as that on Curious Pair. Also, I'm not a big fan of stealing things, but that's just me. The main thing is that the Adventure already exist. In a different color, but it does.
Apostle of Wisdom
Creature — Human Cleric (R)
Whenever Apostle of Wisdom or another blue creature enters the battlefield under your control, you may choose target Werewolf creature an opponent controls. When you do, put a +1/+1 counter on Apostle of Wisdom, then tap the chosen creature. That creature doesn't untap during its controller's untap step for as long as Apostle of Wisdom is on the battlefield.
"May the wisdom of Avacyn always be with you!"

Mana Wandererbravelion83ShowHideYeah, there will probably be several cards associated with Vhedrasa, ranging from commons to mythics. Probably just one colored rare creature for each color, though.
Also, I generally have more trust in a player's ability to keep track of things than that. If it's an issue, then people will invent their own method of keeping track of how many cards they've drawn. I'm also fine with a little more color bleed that others are. I mean, I actually would like to see blinking (exile then return to battlefield) bled into red (flickering flames. Perfect flavor)
Creature - Elemental C
Flying
Spend only colored mana, and no more than one mana of any color, to cast Mana Wanderer.
Mana Wanderer is the colors of the mana spent to cast it.
Everywhere it goes, it belongs.

Primitive Ooze
Creature - Ooze (U)
If Primitive Ooze has a +1/+1 counter on it, it has base power and toughness 4/4.
From out of the primordial soup it emerged, ready to evolve.

Knight's Commission
Enchantment - Aura (U)
Enchant creature
As Knight's Commission enters the battlefield, choose a color.
Enchanted creature gets +1/+1 and has hexproof from the chosen color. It's a Knight in addition to its other types.
: Return Knight's Commission to its owner's hand.
