When Portrait in Motion enters the battlefield, exile all nonartifact nonland permanents not named Portrait in Motion for as long as Portrait in Motion is on the battlefield. For each permanent exiled this way, that permanent's controller creates a 1/1 Human Peasent creature token that is all colors.
If Portrait in Motion would leave the battlefield, exile it instead.

That being said, I really want Read a Short Story to be an instant-speed spell with "You may put a Saga enchantment card from your hand onto the battlefield. Sacrifice it at the beginning of the next end step." so that it feels like you're just getting part of a story.

I like the idea of this using flavor wording like AFR. I'm not sure if you intended that with the parentheticals or just wanted to make sure I understood the chapters, but either way, I enjoyed it on top of this just being a home run entry.

I'm generally not a fan of shroud or hexproof on noncreature permanents. I'm also not a fan of them on creatures, but at least they can usually be interacted with in combat. The complete lack of counterplay just isn't compelling to me. From a cost perspective, this is probably fine without shroud, though.

This is pretty neat! The food to card draw ratio feels a bit steep, since you have to either triple-spell or double-spell three turns in a row to draw a card, but I get that you don't want to just be constantly churning out Food tokens.

@Cythare oops you're right. I meant to put can't be the target of spells or abilities you control so it doesn't draw the game with an oblivion ring but forgot to change it

Not translating it to magic (IE making the story specific references to the real world refer to magic stuff), but a very good detailing of the story in saga form, if a little long.

This is good, since it's clearly Romeo and Juliet (1996, dir baz luhrmann), the story beats play out like the movie very well, and it's not keeping the realworld stuff. I like it!

I like how this parallels the book, though mothra doesn't have mutate normally, so you'd have to do a little more with that final chapter to do it.

All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Odd that sacrificing the last construct makes you draw cards here, but I guess Decker did get a reward at the end of the book.

That's a pretty brutal crit fail. I'm not sure if I like the experience counter shenanigans on a card that can't consistently give you experience counters (what are you experiencing? casting the guy?). Using highly swingy randomness as a balancing factor is also... a bit too Hearthstone for me.

As worded, this lets you pick a different target for each damage amount. If that's intended, I kind of like it (though it's very unintuitive, and still bolts 13-15.5 in a lot of decks). If not, uh, let's not.

smh shoulda been warlocks get to do extra damage. I like it, though it doesn't seem like it needs to be black (especially since Warlock Class already pushes the deck to be black)

lol. this is a bit silly, but so is a vorpal blade. At 6+3 mana, it's probably fair, but I would've liked it if it just gave the creature a Phage trigger rather than instantly winning.

geez this is really swingy. Triggering after blockers turns it from a gameplay choice to a game in probability, which is a bit too Hearthstone for me. Just 40/40/20 on whether it trades, eats or is eaten

I know it's silly that a card called intimidate doesn't give intimidate, but they don't use that ability anymore, so it's menace.
