Alligators! Well, crocodiles, since even Rootwater Alligator is a Crocodile. What a travesty!

Snapjaw Prestidigitator 2UG
Creature - Faerie Rogue (R)
Flying
Whenever Snapjaw Prestidigitator attacks, choose one:
• Manifest the top card of your library.
• Target face-down creature becomes a 5/5 green Crocodile until end of turn.
"That tree? Alligator. That rock? Alligator. The hat on your head - believe it or not, alligator."
2/1

IIW: Detectives and such
I like what's going on here. It's a trickster! It makes Crocodiles! Manifesting is a neat way to tie things together and generate value. My only complaint is that it dies to a stiff breeze, but there's lots of Simic value to be had otherwise.

Crocodile Tears
Instant (U)
If B was spent to cast this spell, each opponent discards a card. If U was spent to cast this spell, until end of turn target creature becomes a blue Crocodile with Base power and toughness 3/3.
Target creature you control deals damage equal to its power to target creature you don't control.

IIW: If (Color) mana was spent to cast this spell, then
This seems like a lot of value for 2 mana, but at uncommon, the UG mode is definitely fine. The discard doesn't seem thematically relevant to the card, and draw-step discard + removal feels like a lot for BG.

My previous submission from the alliteration round:

Crafty Creeper
2bb
Creature - Crocodile (C)
Creatures can't convoke.
2/4
"Crikey!"-Cris, Crocodile Catcher

IIW: Ice Cream
I like the alliteration, but as a design, it doesn't excite me, and it isn't a trickster. It's a fine common, though.

Mangrove Mountebank BGU
Creature - Human Shaman (R)
Hexproof
When Mangrove Mountebank enters the battlefield, create a 4/4 green and black crocodile creature token named "Alligator"
Crocodile creatures you control are unblockable.
0/1

IIW: Disney Animated Canon (that means no Pixar).
I appreciate the dedication to the alligator aspect of the challenge. That being said, I am not a fan of a creature with hexproof that makes other creatures unblockable. It ends up being a very hard-to-interact with package, and the creature with hexproof has 0 power, so there's absolutely no reason for it to attack, which is the only way to reasonably interact with it. It would potentially be fine in a set with absolutely no other Crocodiles.

Floating Debris UU
Artifact
When Floating Debris enters the battlefield, scry 2.
Whenever a creature attacks you or a planeswalker you control, you may pay 2G. If you do, Floating Debris becomes a 3/3 Crocodile creature and loses all other types.
1BB: Floating Debris gains deathtouch until end of turn. Activate only if Floating Debris is a creature, and only if it is blocking a creature with power 3 or less.

Swarming Settlement
Land
Swarming Seaport enters the battlefield tapped.
: Add B, G, or U.
2BGU: Swarming Seaport becomes a 3/3 green Crocodile creature with islandwalk and swampwalk until your next upkeep. It's still a land.
The small fishing village was once full of people who thought building on stilts would keep the alligators away.

IIW: creature type Dreadnought
The activated ability of Floating Debris is weird to me. I get that it allows the card to kill creatures that are a 2/5 or some other odd stat line, but it feels a bit odd. It is a nice way of shoehorning a 3-color card into one color, though. I'd maybe want it to cost 1U instead of UU?

Swarming Settlement having two kinds of color-specific evasion isn't my favorite, but it is a 3/3 that costs 5 to activate (not including it needing to be untapped to attack). It's probably fine as a way to close out against control.

Later Alligator GG
Creature — Alligator Illusion (U)
You can't cast Later Alligator before your third turn of the game.
Whenever Later Alligator becomes the target of a spell, exile it, then return it to the battlefield tapped at the beginning of the next end step.
4/4

IIW: Alter-egos from another timeline/multiverse
I'm a fan of this as a green Serra Avenger variant. I'm glad it enters tapped on the blink, as it's otherwise a pretty sticky threat.

I see what you're going for (and I saw the original version), but the wording here still leaves something to be desired. It might also be a bit brutal at turning trades into temporary 2-for-1s, though it's a bit hard to judge without playing.

Indeed it is, and one of my favorites, but until my post, half the entries were *not* Disney Animated Canon. And as great as Steamboat Willy was from a historical perspective, it is not part of the Disney Animated Canon. The first entry was "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", and the latest entry is "Raya and the Last Dragon" (which despite being primarily CGI is not a Pixar movie).

Tvtropes doesn't appear to list what's in or out of this Disney animated canon thing, but the Disney wiki has a list: https://disney.fandom.com/wiki/Disney_Animated_Canon

I have never once heard of this as a distinct thing until today and would not myself have known Steamboat Willie wouldn't count in such a list—it's Disney, it's animated, it's as canon as I can know anything to be.
