Counter target spell unless its controller reveals a card with same mana cost from their hand or graveyard. If that spell is countered this way, its controller can't cast spells with the same name for the rest of the game.

Mutual Settlement 2WW
Instant (R)
This spell costs less to cast if there are three or more creatures attacking you and/or a planeswalker you control.
Each player chooses up to three creatures they control, then sacrifices the rest. Remove all attacking or blocking creatures from combat and untap them. Exile Mutual Settlement.

, Exile an instant or sorcery card from your graveyard: Counter target noncreature spell unless its controller pays
: Until end of turn, spells your opponents cast cost more to cast and abilities your opponents activate cost more to activate unless they're mana abilities.
"Objection!"
4/6

IIW: kindly attitudes.
ooft, this is very... law. This almost feels like a lock once you untap with it, as it entirely locks your opponent from playing spells on their turn? Lack of flying is a bit off too.

Sorcery (R)
Look at target players hand. You may exile a nonland card from it. For as long as that card remains exiled, its owner may play it. A spell cast this way costs 2 more to cast.

IIW: White Hand Control or Countermagic
Neat. Exploring more of that design space, probably seems balanced, if a bit... unoriginal.

Motion to Dismiss 1UU
Instant (R)
Counter target spell. If that spell is countered this way, exile it instead of putting it into its owner's graveyard.
Objection — Whenever an opponent casts a spell, if its converted mana cost is greater than or equal to your life total, you may say "Objection!" and cast Motion to Dismiss from your graveyard. When you cast it this way, if Motion to Dismiss would be put into your graveyard this turn, exile it instead. (You still pay the costs to cast it.)

IIW: Six's antics after Wrenn leaves it behind
lol. Actually an interesting kind of Fateful Hour-esque mechanic (at least possibly if reworded/expanded).

Azorius Prosecutor 2WU

Ward 3
Creatures can't attack you unless their controller pays 1 for each creature they control that's attacking you.
Whenever an opponent casts a spell, investigate unless that player pays 1.
1/3

IIW: Universes Beyond: Fallout
God I'd hate to play against this. This is probably about as many annoying taxes as you can slap on a single card. It does its job well, I guess, and it's probably balanced.

Benalish Prosecutor 2WW

Flash
Vigilance
When Benalish Prosecutor enters the battlefield, exile up to one target creature that attacked this turn.
"Your honor, 'the best defence is a good offense' doesn't qualify this as self-defence."
3/3

IIW: Alter-egos from another timeline/multiverse
This... seems kinda good. Flash means you can play blocking havoc + exile a guy before it hits. Given its restrictiveness, maybe comparable to Ravenous Chupacabra but exile's good, and I don't think that thing has the best impact on metagames in the first place. Also similar to Lurking Deadeye and friends, but that usually requires a trade from somewhere else. Maybe if it was "that dealt [combat] damage this turn"?
spacemonaut wrote:

Corrupt Attorney 1BB
Creature — Human Advisor (R)
When Corrupt Attorney enters the battlefield, choose one for each mana from a Treasure spent to cast this spell—
• Target creature gets -3/-3 until end of turn.
• Target player discards a card and mills a card.
• Target player draws a card and loses 2 life.
"We'll turn the thumbscrews until they're begging us to leave them alone."
2/2

IIW: Alter-egos from another timeline/multiverse
Boy this does nothing without Treasure and is very juicy with. Not sure if I see the flavour of all the abilities, but I do get the general gist.

Damage Reparations WB
Instant
For each creature an opponent controls that dealt damage to you this turn, create a treasure token. If you control an Advisor creature, create two of those tokens for each creature instead.

IIW: A social Construct as a card
Advisor tribal, oh my. It's an interesting spell but it kinda ends up just as a weird form of ramp with extra steps. While Treasure is fitting in these colours, the volume might be a bit much.

Interesting ramp hoser. It kinda turns every land into a Rupture Spire (or worse) so it probably doesn't play as badly as it reads against ordinary decks. Again, interesting.

Yeah, this is... something. The revealing from graveyard adds a bit of tension to it, but this thing definitely feels a bit... hit or miss. The second clause has oddly less impact because if they can't reveal, it means they don't have the same spell in hand.

reminds me of Settle the Wreckage but seems like, way worse, since you have to sac your own guys. The cheaper cost doesn't really mitigate; the only time it's good is if you're getting completely clapped and need a fog + board wipe.

I like the flavour mirroring. I somewhat like it and it can play interesting politics in multiplayer. There definitely has to be a less clunky way to word that first ability though.

I don't understand the part about the second clause?? It's "for the rest of the game", so with this thing around you must have a card with exact same mana cost in your hand/graveyard as back up or else you might lock yourself out of a key card.

Imagine casting Cruel/Emergent Ultimatum and then locking yourself out of your win condition. Or even locking yourself out of your commander.
