The idea is you could use a mountain and a snow covered mountain to produce Because +=. But Snow covered mountain also produces , and + does not equal . Hopefully my wording works and wouldn't have to get wordier. To keep the deck from being too efficient, Cosmos is the only purple land, but lands that tap for any color can produce purple.

Speaker of Madness 1
Creature- Human Eldrazi Cleric (R)
(One purple mana can be produced with two mana of different types.)
Flash
Play with the top card of your library revealed.
You may draw cards from the bottom of your library rather than the top.

Hounds of Estwald
Creature- Dog Eldrazi (U)
(One purple mana can be produced with two mana of different types.)
When Hounds of estwald enters the battlefield, exile target noncreature, nonbasic permanent. When Hounds of Estwald leaves the battlefield, that permanent's owner creates a 0/3 purple Eldrazi creature token.
3/7

Enigmatic Eye 2
Creature- Eldrazi Bat (C)
Flying
When Enigmatic Eye deals combat damage to a player, add . That mana doesn't empty as steps and phases end.
3/1

Exquisite Cerebellin
Creature- Eldrazi Horror (U)
(One purple mana can be produced with two mana of different types.)
When Exquisite Cerebellin becomes the target of a spell or ability, sacrifice it and draw 3 cards.
2/1

New Moonpup
Creature- Eldrazi Wolf (U)
(One purple mana can be produced with two mana of different types.)
Skulk
When a land enters the battlefield under an opponent's control, that player may pay 1. If they don't, put a +1/+1 counter on New Moonpup.
1/1

Shrieking Unspeakable
Creature- Eldrazi Beast (C)
(One purple mana can be produced with two mana of different types.)
Haste
Other creatures with haste enter the battlefield tapped.
3/2

It Cannot Be!
Instant (C)
(One purple mana can be produced with two mana of different types.)
Exile target spell unless its controller pays 7.

(The above cards are all from an Innistrad Eldrazi theme set (like how we're getting vamps and wolves). The below card comes from a subsequent Commander Legends 2024 set after everyone complained that they couldn't play purpe cards in their EDH decks. That's also why it creates a different token from the others. )

Shgol'Uthoghn, Moonspeaker 2
Legendary Creature- Human Eldrazi Cleric (U)
(One purple mana can be produced with two mana of different types.)
Partner (You can have two commanders if they both have partner).
When Shgol'Uthoghn enters the battlefield, each player sacrifices a creature or enchantment. Each player who does so creates a 4/1 purple Eldrazi creature token.

Hi! You must be the new intern. How's working here at Wizards of the Coast been going? I'm guessing you got sent here to see our Vault of Unreleased Cards? Okay, it's less a vault and more an increasing pile of unused mechanics, but I digress. Each designer would store some of our work here, hoping to one day fix it, or just re-use it wholesale. It's a fun font of inspiration and insight into past designs. Here's a couple:

Amonkhet was a graveyard set, so it was the perfect place to experiment further with this iteration of cycling from the graveyard itself. This was a proof-of-concept for Standard, acting as the usual Glimmer of Genius effect. It's simple, and straight to the point. I wonder what set will try this out next...

The new designers LOVE purple. Everyone always tries their hand at it to see if it can work; you might too eventually. This one designer was probably experimenting with snow when this came up, but the usual way this would end up is using colored and colorless mana. Speaking of, this really looks like colorless mana with extra steps. The numbers compensate for it, sure, but it feels like it's trying something awkward. Best one here is Exquisite Cerebellin, for being a really interesting effect for the cost.

Splice is in a strange place where making it too narrow ruins it but making it too wide is a mechanice-wide power leevl concern. We were experimenting off splice when we came up with this iteration of spellback. This version is dangerous despite being one-shot, so design space is narrow enough to be a guild mechanic. It is draw 4 though, so might have been costed more on both mana and spellback ability, but you can see where we were going here. Still pretty good, but repetitive gameplay is still a concern.

Sometimes we dig up a retired mechanic just to see how far we can go on things. This uses volatile counters to create a chain of exploding Goblins. Might be a bit too strong for common, but I see where it's going here.

You know how we're still trying to figure out what to do with bushido? Sometimes the answer is "make the pump permanent." This Badger is obviously undercosted, but shows how flexible the mechanic could be on its own. Look at all those knobs!

Kaldheim just released, but it feels like we worked on it decades ago. This was from the earlier days of design, when we wanted to see how far we can stretch tribal effects. We could do a lot, but this shows the bookkeeping required with this spell. Some of the feedback we're getting says it's good we kept this part of Kaldheim's complexity down.

Two mechanics? How did these two get bundled together?
Anyways, for the first card: You go through a lot of mechanics making guilds work. This one feels like extort and haunt had a baby. This effectively taxes your opponent's next spell with mana or life. It was really strong, as you can see here where it explodes into more bats. Bit much, but that's more because of the mechanic more than this one design.
Now the second card is another purple card. It even uses Gunk and Invade for some reason. It also explodes into token like the first card. This one will break a format somewhere.

Reckless is an example of making a mechanic for one guild, and coming out with something for another guild. For one turn, this becomes a Ball Lightning that will most likely survive after combat, but not the end of your turn. Really feels like Rakdos, right? The size provides some differentiation, but it's not doing so well.

Forbidden was weird to playtest. We got to use the command zone like emblems, and unlike Companion this one will take a while to appear. This could get away with being mono-blue, actually. I wonder what would happen to this in the outside world though, what with Companion and all. It's interesting on its own, and feels less scary to playtest.
So what do you think? Which ones are interesting as is, and which ones are just waiting for the proper set? For me, it's...

As WotC themselves consider Plesiosaurs and Pterosaurs dinosaurs when it comes to the game, I would consider all the giant reptiles of the Age of Dinosaurs to be dinos in the context of the game, which includes Mosasaurs. However, Ammonites are neither dinosaurs nor paleolithic, so no, those do not count (Nautiluses do however count, as they existed during the paleolithic era.)

Trample
Food Chain Dinosaur enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
At the beginning of your end step, if Food Chain Dinosaur attacked, sacrifice it, and create a token that's a copy of it except it enters the battlefield with one more +1/+1 counter on it than the sacrificed creature.

Reconstituted Rex 2GG
Creature — Dinosaur {R}
Trample
Fossilized (When this enters the battlefield, sacrifice it unless you exile another Fossil you control.)
7/7

Ancient Fossil 2
Artifact — Fossil {C}
When Ancient Fossil enters the battlefield, scry 1.
Dinosaur spells you cast cost you 1 less to cast.

(Imagine also Fossil artifact tokens that let you scry 1 on ETB but otherwise don't do anything).

Dinosaur Fossil 3
Artifact (R)
As an additional cost to cast Dinosaur Fossil, sacrifice a land.
t: Add two mana of any color. Use this mana only to cast creature spells.
1BB: Transform Dinosaur Fossil.
//
Reanimated Regisaur
Creature - Dinosaur Skeleton
Menace
b: Regenerate Reanimated Regisaur.
7/6

I know this doesn't really meet the challenge. I just wanted to turn a fossil into a dinosaur skeleton.

IIW: Create a new kind of token. (Shard, Treasure, etc.)
