When Saint Elenda returned to her homeland of Torrezon, she finds it completely different to what it once was. Corrupted by wealth and vampirism, she seeks to change the Legion of Dusk to what it once was. But a threat looms over the horizon; in coming to Ixalan, the legion made itself new enemies, the kind who know exactly how to track them down.

We all know Ikoria as a world where steadfast people live back to back with terrifying monsters and somehow manage to survive and even make friends with them. But was it always like this? Let's go to the past days of this plane to see how first humans of it tried to deal with harsh circumstances, when Ancients of Ikoria were young and playful, everything was fresh and the future of human survivalists was uncertain at best.

The Guilds in the North intended to conduct their missions clandestinely in Ravnica's Pole, but have attracted undue attention from the forces of Ravnica's status quo: Jace, Niv-Mizzet, the Guildpact Council, and most of all the leadership of the main branches of their guilds back in the City. The remaining five guilds (Simic, Boros, Azorius, Rakdos, and Golgari) scramble for their share of the secrets of the North as well.

Karu was a humble plane once. People lived out peaceful lives tending their lands and caring for one another. Karu was a humble plane once. People lived out peaceful lives tending their lands and caring for one another. Then the spires came, five giant towers that surged from the ground, carrying with them powerful artifacts, treasures to behold, and monsters to threaten daily life. Over time, the spires became a focal point of life. Groups of "heroes" would delve into their dungeons in search of gold, fame, or revenge. But no matter how many come back, the spires remain unbeated. Will anyone be bold enough to take on the Spires of Karu?
