For my projects (Jeff Lionheart, "One pierced heart, two mindful horns", republished articles from my series "The Lion's Lair", and custom sets), see Leo's content index (Last updated on April 9th 2024 - Added TLL #8).
After I'm done republishing my articles I want to reprise the series focusing it more on editing, wording, and templating. Suggest potential future article topics here.

I have just noticed, but it is not entirely true - like bravelion83 has spotted, there is a wrongly placed "the" in the Vengeful Skathul's text. Due to small difference in total points, I think it might matter.

That is true! Of course I wouldn't take away more than 0.5 points meaning you and slimytrout would both qualify for the final.Lorn Asbord Schutta wrote: ↑2 years agoI have just noticed, but it is not entirely true - like bravelion83 has spotted, there is a wrongly placed "the" in the Vengeful Skathul's text. I've fixed both my final post in round 3, making it officially a tie, and the players list for the final round, now including slimytrout too.void_nothing wrote: ↑2 years agoThat is true! I see seven lines of rules text on the back in MSE... If I added even a single line of flavor text, the font size would go down. For future reference, how many lines of rules text in MSE do you consider to be enough to justify not adding flavor text?bravelion83 wrote: ↑2 years agoFlavor 2/3 - I like the names, and the word "moon" connecting them. MSE shows me there is definitely room for flavor text on the front face and also a couple lines on the back face, so the lack of flavor text is a problem here.

I actually try adding lines of flavor text to see how many could fit while still having an acceptable font size. I consider the Eternal Masters printing of Animate Dead as the limit: ten lines plus two breaks. It's the longest text that has been printed for real as far as I know.vishamon wrote: ↑2 years agoI see seven lines of rules text on the back in MSE... Also, it is once again the time that I ask for a volunteer to host the MCC in December!

Just to make sure: would Subchallenge 2 be satisfied by including a keyword ability that has a built-in additional cost (e.g. Kicker or Replicate)?
